TA Lounge - Friday

After waking up early and hanging flyers about the Boykissy Event, Veronica decided to go hang out in the assistant's lounge and take all the cookies she had baked the day before, now that they wouldn't need them for the Boykissy Event.

She opened the lounge and started a pot of coffee.

[Veronica's mun stayed home from work sick and wants to play]

Coffee is brewing, there are plenty of cookies, and Veronica is scribbling on her tablet.

No, she won't show you what she's writing.

Veronica realizes that it might be a good idea to put the final touches on her journalism midterm project.

Still touching up that project.

Veronica locks the lounge and heads off to Journalistic Integrity.

Veronica is back and brews a fresh pot of coffee.

She's relieved to have midterms over and done with and is back to scribbling on the tablet.

If one were to get close enough, they might catch a glimpse of the word boykissy on it.

Cookies do not make for a good lunch.

So Veronica decides to order pizza.

Too much pizza and being up too early combine to make a sleepy Veronica.

She stretches out on one of the couches.

She reviews all the notes she's made and she thinks she's got some pretty good plans.

Veronica locks the lounge and goes for her daily visit to Angel ~~assuming there's a post...~~

Piper wandered into the TA Lounge during lunch period because it has to be less scary than the cafeteria. At least she hoped.

"Hey, roomie," Veronica greeted her. "I just ordered some pizza. It should be here in about ten minutes. How's your day?"

"Ooh, pizza." Definitely less scary than the cafeteria. "My day has been mostly quiet. Yay for having no classes on Fridays."

"I only had one class and it wasn't too bad ~~I'm assuming~~."

"That's good," Piper said. "So how have you been? Haven't really talked to you much in a few days."

"It's been a much quieter week than last week," she said with a wry grin. "Oh, I baked cookies yesterday, want one?" she asked, indicating the plate on the counter.

"Of course," Piper said cheerfully, taking a cookie. "I haven't baked in awhile. I should do something about that."

"Well, I baked for the boykissy event, but now that it's on hold..."

"Wait, what? It's on hold? Why?" Piper might have pouted a little.

"Angel's still technically on bed rest," she explained. "Plus it was brought to our attention that the only way to keep things fair was to have a girlkissy poll."

Piper blinked a few times. "I guess that would be fair."

Angela decided to take a break in the TA lounge between lunch and art.

Seeing Veronica napping, she tried to be quiet as she rummaged through the mini-fridge for a soda.

Just then the pizza was delivered.

Veronica paid the npc delivery guy and then set about getting out plates and napkins so they could eat.

"So anything exciting on your agenda for the weekend?" she asked Piper.

Veronica wasn't actually napping, merely resting her eyes.

"Hey, Angela," she said. "I think there's some pizza leftover from lunch if you're hungry."

Angela thought about it for a nanosecond. "Sure," she said. "I just had yogurt for lunch. I'm trying to go all year without setting foot in the cafeteria."

She selected a slice of pepperoni pie and nibbled on it.

"So how are you?"

"No major crises this week, so I guess I can't complain," she said with a grin. "How about you?"
