Cameron's got some chocolate cake with him. He puts it on the table and settles down in one of the chairs. Keeping his head down in the lounge sounds like a good thing right now.

((Shut up. I know it's not Thursday. *mutters*))

"Worst career ever? No." She shook her head. "Though I will admit it had its moments."

"At times." She caught it, and tossed it back. "Other times, it's worth it to go slow and savor the experience."

"Cake therapy," Cameron nodded. "They should do more studies on it."

"Are you another of those 'don't talk to me until I've had coffee' types?"

"But the fun parts make up for it, I'm sure." Cameron said without a doubt, because it just had to be fun.

"They absolutely do," Sam affirmed, although she wasn't always sure about that. "Especially some of the cool stuff you can fly these days--it's really amazing."

"Slow is-" Cameron missed the ball and it ended up hitting him in the chest and falling to his lap. He blinked and looked around the room.

"Okay..." He blinked his eyes a couple of times, but there was definitely something lacking...

"Like the plane I crashed," Cameron tilted his head, remembering his promise to Aeryn. "How far can it go?"

"It's nine am and I've already had one class," Logan grumbled. "Nine more weeks, dude, and I am free."

"Free for what?" Cameron asked.

"Agreed," Kiki nodded, using the edge of her fork to scrape up the last of the frosting off the paper plate. "It's like the solution to all your problems in one little slice."

Kiki picked her book up again and flipped open her notebook to a blank page, taking her pen down from behind her ear.

"Hey, I didn't throw it that hard," she said with a smile.

Logan shrugged. "For whatever happens next. Whatever it is, not gonna be 8 am classes."

He didn't really pay attention to the remark and was still looking around the room. When he turned his attention back to Izzy, he realised that she was entirely black and white as well. "Uh, do you notice anything weird going on?"

"Yeah, that's definitely a sweetie." She looked a bit wistful. "And not as far as we'd like it to."

Sam made a face and looked around for note-taking shrubs. "Unfortunately, the power source for the engine isn't completely stable. It's good for short hops, but not so much for longer distances--yet."

"So no college?"

Isabel loked around the room, half expecting to see some alien life form creeping up the walls. "No. Why?"

"You should do poetry," Cameron grinned.

"So nothing good enough to go to the other side of the galaxy and play taxi?" He sighed.

"So nothing just went completely black and white for you?" Okay, so he was starting to get a bit worried here.

"Not yet. But ~~we're~~ they're working on it." She raised an eyebrow. "Why, you looking to become a cabbie?"

With a chuckle, Kiki answered, "Well, Professor Chaucer was pretty eager to have me take his advanced poetry course and TA for him. It's been a lot of fun so far; I'm really sad that he's leaving. What are you TAing?"

"Just to pick up Aeryn," Cameron shrugged.

"No." And now she was starting to get worried. "Cam are you okay?"

"Oh right, sorry. I'm slow today," he shook his head. "Self-defense for professor MacLeod."
