Cameron's got some chocolate cake with him. He puts it on the table and settles down in one of the chairs. Keeping his head down in the lounge sounds like a good thing right now.

((Shut up. I know it's not Thursday. *mutters*))

Isabel reached out and ruffled his hair. "In the real world, I'd be worried about. But this is Fandom. I'm sure there is some incredibly bizarre reason it's happened. Look at it this way, you're not a small, furry animal." She grinned, "So you think I'm pretty?"

Sam gave him a look. "Cameron, you're flying a piece of machinery that weighs over a ton at speeds that break the sound barrier, and hopefully the speed of light. There's a very specific personality type that finds that fun."

"Not that there's anything wrong with that," she winked, "just that it's not for everybody."

Cameron made a whiny noise at the mention of being furry, but didn't look up. "It better wear off, I like colours." He paused. "Yes."

"True, but I think you're crazy if you don't want to do it." He bounced a bit.

"Thanks." She kept on with the ruffling just because it was cute to listen to him whine. "I'm sure it's going to wear off, but why don't you go to the clinic and get checked out just in case? Although I'm sure they won't find anything wrong with you."

"Probably. Hopefully," his reply was muffled in the pillow as he didn't move because ruffling was nice. "I don't feel sick. Maybe it was the ball?"

"Kinda preaching to the choir on that one, Cameron," she smiled at him, happy to see him more like his old self. "But I may be the Queen of finding unconventional stuff fun."

"Was it a magic ball? Where did it come from?" she asked, completely serious. It was fandom after all. She might have massaged his neck just a bit.

"Some kid gave it to me when I was a cub," he frowned into the pillow. "I think he did us magic to make it. Damn," he looked up from the pillow but not enough to dislodge her hand. "You're fine right? You're still seeing all co-" He stopped and stared at her.

"Nothing wrong with that," he said lightly.

"I'm fine," she said, pulling her hand back. "What's wrong? You can still see right?"

"Yeah," he leaned up a bit and tilted his head. "Brown again. Weird."

"Uh huh." Sam stared off into the distance at nothing briefly as she very much didn't remember things Jack had said, but blinked and shook it off. She smiled, "Tell that to, oh, everybody. Apparently physics is dorky and not at all fun."

"That's odd. But good." She smiled, "See, I told you it wasn't anything to worry about."

"I guess not," he straightened up and blinked a couple of times. The colours seemed to be sticking.

"They're just jealous of your brain," Cameron said and frowned. "You okay?"

"Still seeing everything in living color?"

"Some days they can have it." She shrugged. "Yeah, just residual O'Neill stuff. I'd have thought blowing up his bomber jacket in class today would have ended that, but I guess not."

"For now," he nodded and looked at her. "How about brain tumors?"

Cameron looked confused. "Uh, I think I missed something?"

"I broke up with Jack's answering machine the day after Valentine's Day." She looked at him sympathetically. "You had enough of your own stuff to deal with. I didn't see the point in bothering you with mine."

Isabel shrugged, "I suppose it's a possibility. But a very, very, very slim one. Considering all the weird stuff that happens in this place, I'd say it's something magical."

"Yeah," he said carefully. "If it comes back, I'll drop by the clinic tomorrow. It probably was Kawalsky's food."

She shook her head. "I wonder what my parents would say if I asked them to send me a huge box of food so I wouldn't have to eat anything made here?"

"Stopping by the clinic if it happens again is probably a good idea," she agreed. "Just to make sure."

"Yes, ma'am." Cameron gave her a sloppy salute. "You can try. Normally my mom sends me self made chocolate cake, but she doesn't have the time right now."
