Phoebe opens up the lounge in a very good mood... even if she is trying to write a mid-term for a class to take on Thursday.

"Without," Kiki remarks, "actually going there ourselves. I'd rather not repeat that experience!"

[ooc: I think I might, on my home comp. I'll check when I get home tonight :) ]

Phoebe nods emphatically. "I knew I was going to die that night and I'd rather not come close to it again. I also know what you went through and so not willing to come that close to losing you again. So yes, investigating without dying ourselves."

She tilts her head. "So besides the witches and hell thing, what else did you find interesting about Inferno?"

"Well - I do think Dante was on to something with his punishments fitting the crimes," Kiki muses. "It's that karmic retribution again, just like we talked about in Magical Theory. Either there's some borrowing going on between two very opposed ideologies, or there's something universal about that idea."

She's still coming back from the discussion about what's on the other side after death and it's making her see her premonition again. She swallows, staring at the table as she listens to Kiki.

She looks up when Kiki mentions punishments and Phoebe's eyes seem to brighten with the karmic retribution idea. "I agree that there is something to that idea."

"I do need you," Phoebe says softly, doing her best to make Paige feel that.

Kiki looks puzzled. "Ehr...yes, I mean, it is a sort of founding tenet in most magical systems and religions," she says slowly, "But it sounds like that's not quite what you're getting at."

"I-I know and that's why I'm not going anymore," she replies and she does mean it.

"I just find it interesting that the punishments that fit the crimes... don't always have to be cruel or dangerous..."

"Besides, who but you can rescue me from doctors that look like my boyfriend before I do something stupid?"

She wants to see Paige even smile a tiny bit.

And she does, look!

"Well yeah I guess there is that, anyway the doctor's cuter," she says with a smirk, totally not caring if Cole hears or not.

"Hey!" Phoebe says with mock indignation. "That fake doesn't have the kind of style and skills that my Cole does."

Over-sharing much, Phoebe?

And Paige is going to try and take that in an innocent way, but well it's Paige and she can't really can she?

So she goes with what is likely to cause the least embarrassment, pretend she didn't just hear it and just randomly look around the room.

Phoebe realizes how that sounds and does a *headwall*

Blair bounces in looking for a quiet space and waves. "Good morning, Bel"

"I...suppose not," Kiki answers, still bemused. "Do you have some crime you want to punish?"

Phoebe raises an eyebrow, hoping Kiki picks up on what she's thinking.

"Perhaps... and mirrors are such a lovely way to require retribution..."

Kiki's jaw drops. "You... you want to punish Mr. Crowley," she cries, agape. She pauses, considering. "You know... there's something to that idea," Kiki nods. "He did take our knickers, after all..."

A downright wicked spark begins to twinkle in Kiki's eyes.

"Morning," Bel said with a wave.

Phoebe nods slowly as a matching spark starts taking root in her eyes, as well.

"Nighties of sinful slinkiness without underwear... I think that deserves some form of karmic retribution delivered by two witches who are such good students in Geoff's class..."

Bel looked up sharply at Kiki's outburst.

"We have to be creative," Phoebe nods. "What he did doesn't justify any sort of violence, not that we could anyway. But something that measures up to the embarrassment we suffered."

"How are you doing today? How was your weekend?" Blair scrounged the drawers as he spoke. "Do you know if there's hot chocolate in here?"

[look! I'm the right person this time!]

"Try the bottom drawer," Bel suggested. "Doing okay, you?"

[No worries, we've all done it. ;) ]

Blair dug through the drawer for a moment and came up with a box. "Yes! It even has the little marshmallows! Do you want some?"

"I'm great! I had a good date yesterday man, and I think it went really well. Plus we're having all these tests in all my classes which is a lot of fun."

Kiki is nodding. "Right... right..." She nibbles on her knuckle a moment and then starts to snicker.

"Paisley."
