Assistants' Lounge 1/11

Thursday morning before first period, Walter opened the TA's lounge and had to blow dust off the coffee maker before he could get some going. It seemed that no one had been in here in months.

Well, he couldn't really point fingers. He'd had a key since September and hadn't abused it. But he was now.

There was coffee and he decided he'd have his lunch there today as well.

Coffee, tea, yawning.

Walter's off to yet another first thing in the morning class.

Seriously, did Fosse not get in here often? Walter has a dust rag and he's not afraid to use it.

Dancing with that broom? Mayyyybe.

There's only so much dusting you can do before you get bored.

Ooh, off to another class.

Food! Walter has sandwiches.

Either he's really hungry, he's planning on feeding the gremlins, or there are plenty to share.

He's just resting his eyes. Really.

Seriously. At this point, something might implode without an OOC thread.

Tyler was done with classes for the week, and Ms. Frost had ~~handwavily~~ given him a key to the lounge, so he decided to explore. "Anyone in here?" he called, turning the knob. "Hey, Walter."

Nadia heard someone moving around in the lounge on her way to her class and came back during sixth period to investigate.

She peeked in the doorway, just in case. This was Fandom, after all. No way of telling if she might startle a gremlin, or a mob of lemurs, or some such thing.

"No one in here but us gremlins," Walter answered.

Instead, it was a butler with his mouth full. He waved to her and finished chewing before speaking. "Hey you."

"Hey. Wow, I haven't been in here in months."

"Neither have I. I thought there should be some use for that TA key I get for making Dr. Orpheus' coffee."

"Hey, at least you don't have to worry about random covert operations that you might be asked to go on. . . ."

That did not help Walter feel even the least bit better.

Not by a bloody long shot.

"You get to turn these things down, right? If they're suicidally dangerous or immoral or just flat out stupid?"

"That's what she said."

I see you your incredible cutness and raise you evil cuteness.

"As logn as you aren't biting, I'm good," Tyler answered.

he walked in and started poking in the corners, sniffing at things. "Wow, if I had known about the luxury here, I would have been a TA last semester."

"It's all about the rampant abuse of power," Walter said, grinning up at Tyler. "Whose class are you a TA for?"

"Then I suppose if she sticks by that, you'll be getting extra training you'll be able to use in the future," Walter said, not sounding particularly enthusiastic, but trying to be optimistic.

Besides, very, very bad things would happen to that teacher if she was using Nadia.

Alas, I'll be unable to see your cuteness until I am not at work.

"Emma Frost's," Tyler answered. "Home Ec. I should wear an apron and bake cookies." He wouldn't even put anything in them. "What about you?"

"I'll be careful, don't worry so much."
