Mischief and Mayhem Club, Meeting #3, Monday night, 11 pm, TA Lounge

The first one in the loung tonight, the masked figure set everything up for the other club members, which meant setting out several boxes of donuts. They needed energy to discuss what needed discussing. Besides, mmm, donuts.

Whipping her cloak around, she took a seat and realized somewhat belatedly that eating for some masked figures might be hard to do. Whatever, they can take a donut to go.

"The red swallow flies at dawn," Mercury said. "Um. Every week, yeah. I just felt like that should get a spy-answer."

"Ooh, that's a good point. And then I should have a response to your response, too, so you don't get suspicious of me and think that I am just some weirdo. Hmmm." Red Demon lifted her mask and took another bite of her doughnut. She chewed slowly as she thought about her answer, still not looking. "How about, 'and the cat is fast asleep at his watch'?"

"If it was my cat," Mercury said, and then stopped herself abruptly. "Which I may or may not have. This could be a clever ruse to confuse you. I do not admit to any cat-having."

"Aha! See? That's good! Top secret spy confusion technique! You're being sneaky... trying to trick me into thinking that you have a cat by SAYing you don't have a cat in a way that sounds like you do when you really don't." Red Demon shook the doughnut remains from her hands. "I know the trick to that, though! You... have a dog."

"I do," Mercury said ominously. "His name is Moobert and he's a weiner dog. Oh, man, now I want a weiner dog."

Mercury failed at spying.

"Oh, weiner dogs? You know what's good! Weiners cut into little octopus shapes! They're my favourite 'cause they're so cute and delicious, and I can totally make them on my own, but it's best when someone else makes it for you." Red Demon was kind of hungry, always now.
