Thursday - TA lounge time, huzzah!
Kawalsky's up early and unlocks the assistants' lounge.
Charlie grinned. "Well, it's nice to know I'm useful."
"Bingo. Which I've gotta head out for soon. Only class of the day, though. Might come back here after. I'm getting sick of my room and the new colors in the common room make me hallucinate."
"Well, I've gotta head out for political campaigning myself at the same time," Elizabeth replied. "Which for me, is one of four today. I won't be finished until 7th period."
"Hey!" Sam made her way over to one of the tables and began unloading equipment, notes, and parts of Winona from her bag. "Sorry, didn't see you there. My head was still spinning from the test. I made some notes in the margins of the manual you lent me that might help, if you want to try again."
Cameron grinned. "Okay, I get what you are doing here. But why the hell did she let me in then?"
"Cool," Cameron got up but winced a bit as he noticed she was still in pieces. "Do you think it will fix it? I talked to Anakin and apparently Winona's from where he is."
"That's an easy question, man. You're a geek." He grinned.
"Fun. Hey, you wanna catch up and do something this weekend?"
Cameron huffed. "I'm way too cool for a geek."
Elizabeth grinned. "What did you have in mind?" she asked.

"Maybe you're one of those geeks-turned-action-heroes. They always get the chicks."
"Main reason we keep you around," Callisto joked.
Cameron laughed. "I got one chick and I'm very happy with her, thanks."
"I hope so," Sam said, "but I won't know for sure until you get it up and running, or at least in better working order, so I can figure out where the real problem is. Does Anakin know tech at all? Maybe he could help."
"Maybe a trip to the mainland? We could go out, see something other than this place, not think about school or anything."
"See? Your cool-geek hybrid charm worked already."
"Anakin said he's good at fixing things and I could bring Winona to him if you couldn't figure it out."
"That sounds like the best idea I've heard in a while," Elizabeth smiled.
Cameron snorted. "Girls find it hard to resist sidekicks, man."
"You sure? Because as soon as I get outta class, I'm making reservations."
Elizabeth laughed. "Absolutely," she said firmly.
"Good. It's great to have a fallback position. I'd have done more with it, but you said you wanted to work on it yourself." She glanced over at Charlie, "Plus, I've been busy helping Logan with, er, party favors."
"Yeah, the party's been keeping everyone busy." Cameron nodded and carefully picked the Winona pieces up.
Charlie grinned again. "Cool." He glanced at his watch. "Okay, I've gotta go." He pressed a kiss to her forehead and got up. "See you later?"
Elizabeth smiled. "Absolutely. And, uh. Try to stay out of trouble in class, m'okay?"
