Callisto followed shortly after Cameron, and flopped down on the couch. "Cameron, Charlie."

"Callisto!" Kawalsky greeted. He eyed the house of cards critically and added another card. "You're still alive. How's that working for you?"

"Better after I have coffee," Callisto looked across at the coffee machine and wondered if she could develop telekinesis before third period. "What kind of sadist schedules an exam first period?"

"Daniel Jackson?"

"I haven't taken any of his classes, this was Professor Tick."

"Ahhh. The big guy doesn't understand the need for caffeine and the injustice of mornings."

"I'm usually good at mornings, it's just the twisty-turny logic we need for his classes...I'm not used to thinking that way."

"I haven't taken any of his classes yet, but knowing him? I get ya."

"You survive the weekend alright?"

Kawalsky gave a muffled gurgle. "I ended up out for the count pretty early on after detention." Well, it was mostly true.

"Damn, you didn't get hurt too bad did you?"

"Yo!" Cameron waved at Callisto.

"Are all of Professor Tick's exams like that?" Callisto rubbed her eyes. "I feel more tired after class than before, that can't be normal."

Cameron nodded. "Pretty much yeah. He's got his own style."

"Well, at least it was today rather than tomorrow, wouldn't do to be this wiped for tomorrow night's party."

"There's a party?"

"Logan's throwing a 'oh gods I'm stuck in the dorms' party tomorrow night, looks like it'll be fun."

"Ahhh. Isabel mentioned something like that earlier. Everyone's invited, fun, music, that kind of thing?"

"Yeah, should be a regular riot."

"Cool." He thought nothing more of it.

"True, Logan's party is supposed to be huge. We wouldn't want to miss out on it." Cameron agreed.

"Best way to survive a party like that is to be prepared, plenty of rest beforehand, that kinda thing."

"I'm on it," Cameron nodded. "Angel's been giving me pointers."

"Yeah, he's helpful like that, but you gotta remember, vampire, he can take a bit more damage then you before he has to bow out of the party."

"Yeah, but he has inside information." Cameron pointed out.
