Since he hadn't listened to what she had said before about not being healed, she wasn't going to repeat it this time. She swallowed past what she was going to say and then shook her head. "I don't care how much you want me dead, Cole. What I do care about is that if you try it, or if you try to harm anyone I care about, you will wish you didn't know what a witch is!"
She made her escape and once she was down the hall, she collapsed against the wall, dropping her books, and stood there for awhile, trying to get the terror under control.
