TA lounge, Wednesday February 22

Cameron's got some chocolate cake with him. He puts it on the table and settles down in one of the chairs. Keeping his head down in the lounge sounds like a good thing right now.

"I'm Kiki," she answered. "I'm TAing for poetry for Professor Chaucer this semester."

She took a bite of the cake, and continued, "And if I'm correct in assuming you're responsible for this cake? I might just have to owe you an enormous debt of gratitude."

"No debt," Cameron grinned. "Cake love is something that needs to be spread around."

That's blessed as much as this -
The delicious chocolate cake," Kiki declaimed, taking another bite. "True beyond belief. I'm feeling better already."

"Cake therapy," Cameron nodded. "They should do more studies on it."

"Agreed," Kiki nodded, using the edge of her fork to scrape up the last of the frosting off the paper plate. "It's like the solution to all your problems in one little slice."

Kiki picked her book up again and flipped open her notebook to a blank page, taking her pen down from behind her ear.

"You should do poetry," Cameron grinned.

With a chuckle, Kiki answered, "Well, Professor Chaucer was pretty eager to have me take his advanced poetry course and TA for him. It's been a lot of fun so far; I'm really sad that he's leaving. What are you TAing?"

"Oh right, sorry. I'm slow today," he shook his head. "Self-defense for professor MacLeod."

"Oh, that's all right," Kiki giggled. "Happens to me all the time. How is Prof. MacLeod in class? I've never met him."

"He's a good teacher. Knows his stuff," Cameron said. "Pretty impressive when you see him in action with a sword."

"Wow," Kiki answered, nodding appreciatively. "Is there a chance of your class doing a demo at the end of the semester? I bet it'd be really interesting to see."
