Cameron's got some chocolate cake with him. He puts it on the table and settles down in one of the chairs. Keeping his head down in the lounge sounds like a good thing right now.

((Shut up. I know it's not Thursday. *mutters*))

"No. No. No. I just ate those pastries Kawalsky got from Jeff's. Cameron groaned and bowed his head. He pressed the heels of his hands against his eyes for a moment and then looked up at Izzy again. His shoulders slumped. "You're prettier in colour," he sulked.

"I'm sure it's nothing permanent. Isn't weird stuff a given around here?" Reaching out she patted his shoulder. "Do you want me to walk over to the clinic with you? Just to make sure?"

"I guess," he sighed and grabbed a pillow. Placing it on his lap, he buried his face i it to keep himself from seeing the non colourful world. "Do you know if there are any terminal diseases that keep you from seeing colour?"

Isabel reached out and ruffled his hair. "In the real world, I'd be worried about. But this is Fandom. I'm sure there is some incredibly bizarre reason it's happened. Look at it this way, you're not a small, furry animal." She grinned, "So you think I'm pretty?"

Cameron made a whiny noise at the mention of being furry, but didn't look up. "It better wear off, I like colours." He paused. "Yes."

"Thanks." She kept on with the ruffling just because it was cute to listen to him whine. "I'm sure it's going to wear off, but why don't you go to the clinic and get checked out just in case? Although I'm sure they won't find anything wrong with you."

"Probably. Hopefully," his reply was muffled in the pillow as he didn't move because ruffling was nice. "I don't feel sick. Maybe it was the ball?"

"Was it a magic ball? Where did it come from?" she asked, completely serious. It was fandom after all. She might have massaged his neck just a bit.

"Some kid gave it to me when I was a cub," he frowned into the pillow. "I think he did us magic to make it. Damn," he looked up from the pillow but not enough to dislodge her hand. "You're fine right? You're still seeing all co-" He stopped and stared at her.

"I'm fine," she said, pulling her hand back. "What's wrong? You can still see right?"

"Yeah," he leaned up a bit and tilted his head. "Brown again. Weird."

"That's odd. But good." She smiled, "See, I told you it wasn't anything to worry about."

"I guess not," he straightened up and blinked a couple of times. The colours seemed to be sticking.

"Still seeing everything in living color?"

"For now," he nodded and looked at her. "How about brain tumors?"

Isabel shrugged, "I suppose it's a possibility. But a very, very, very slim one. Considering all the weird stuff that happens in this place, I'd say it's something magical."

"Yeah," he said carefully. "If it comes back, I'll drop by the clinic tomorrow. It probably was Kawalsky's food."

She shook her head. "I wonder what my parents would say if I asked them to send me a huge box of food so I wouldn't have to eat anything made here?"

"Stopping by the clinic if it happens again is probably a good idea," she agreed. "Just to make sure."

"Yes, ma'am." Cameron gave her a sloppy salute. "You can try. Normally my mom sends me self made chocolate cake, but she doesn't have the time right now."

"No saluting. You're not in the military yet," she grinned and pushed at his shoulder. "You like chocolate cake?"

"Will be," Cameron raised and eyebrow and the push and nudged back. "Of course I am. I'm the 2nd floor's official provider."

Laughing she grabbed his hand and held on. "Now I was going to offer to make you a cake. But if you usually provide it, then I demand a slice."

"Is that so?" Cameron wriggled his fingers and found that he could just barely poke her shoulder. "There's cake right on the table, you'll have to be patient if you want me to actually make some from scratch." He pondered armwrestling.

"Cake? Here?" Letting go of his hand, she went to the table and took a slice. A minute later, she was back on the couch, chocolate crumbs on her lip. "This is good. And you made it yourself?"

"No, that one I bought." He looked amused as he watched her.
