Paige frowns, "yeah me too, but he has to do what best for him doesn't he? And you know I'm sure he will be happier back in his own world, he's a really strong man, I'm sure he'll be fine." she says tring to reassure her.

"That's something," Angela said, smiling.

"So who do you TA for?"

"Well, if you were me, how would you react to finding your girlfriend in skimpy lingerie and no underwear in bed with another man?" Bel said, bitterness creeping into his voice. "Particularly one who is fond of lying and tricked your girlfriend into signing a contract to marry him? One who has hurt you repeatedly in the past with great pleasure, yet your girlfriend seems to think he's a great guy?"

"Professor Chaucer," Kiki answered. "His poetry course. Although he's leaving in a few weeks, so I guess that means I won't really be a TA anymore. Unless his replacement keeps me on board, that is."

"True," Kiki answers. "I can't say that I don't empathize. I know how it sad it can be, feeling like you're being left behind, or that everyone is leaving you."

"Yeah I lot of people seem to have left recently, I still miss Michael and Dr House and know with Geoff leaving too, it's just all a bit much really you know? Still at least I still have a few friends left here." she replies sadly

"Point," Kiki admitted, thinking of Mr. Crowley's liberties of spiriting away her clothing - including her knickers - and spiriting on of the nightie. She just might have to do something in regards to that. "It did look bad, I absolutely agree. But obviously, there's more to this situation than just Saturday morning. I'm not asking for you to divulge any secrets - but can you start at the beginning? How is it that you and Phoebe love each other so much, but trust each other so little?"

Kiki is silent a moment, thinking of Aziraphale and Wilson. Michael, Ben, Chihaya, Harry, Chiana, Loz, Kadaj and Yazoo, Tara - and now Professor Chaucer.

"I know." Kiki added sadly, "Thankfully, I still have you, Phoebe, Lana and Mr. Crowley. At least there's you all still here."

Cally's gone off to class and Anders really doesn't feel like being by himself right now, so he heads down to the TA lounge with his Classics books and notes to do his studying there, in hopes of having some company. He's got that dark-circles-under-the-eyes, tired look.

"Hey," he says, only the slightest bit surprised (because hey, this is Fandom) to see someone hovering on a broom in the middle of the lounge. "Um. I don't think we've ever met, have we?"

Paige smiles at Kiki then, "you know we should hang out more, I had some kind of fun at Caritas the other night, well apart from all the crying and stuff."

Kiki takes her eyes off her fixed point on the wall to glance towards the door, and then reverts back to the thumb tack that's acting as her focal point.

"Um, no, I don't think so," she says, her balance wavers, and she quickly adjusts her arms, held out to the sides, to regain it. After a moment of concentration, she adds, "I'm Kiki. I TA for Professor Chaucer. How about you?"

Kiki smiles a little. "I did, too. It felt kinda good to get out some of my frustration about John." She shrugs. "Huh, boys. They never know a good thing when they see one."

"It's Crowley I don't trust!" Bel said angrily. "He's evil. But you and Phoebe flock around him like flies and honey. He lies and Phoebe believes what he says. And she won't do anything to break the contract she signed. He's trying to break us up," Bel finished, frustration obvious in his voice. "I want her to stay the hell away from him."

"yeah I bunch of idiots the lot of them, although, surely by the law of averages at least one has to be nice, other that one would be taken wouldn't it?"

She frowns, "Maybe we'll get lucky with the new students next year huh?" and no she didn't mean that the way it came out.

"Anders," he says with a slightly self-conscious smile, "TA for Professor MacLeod in gym. Which sounds kind of funny, I know."

He watches with interest for a while as she hovers on the broom before saying, "So that's how you manage to keep up with a pretty busy delivery service by yourself, huh? This girl way back before the beginning of the semester was telling me about a sport where she comes from that's played on brooms. Said she was a witch. Are you one too? Not that I'm assuming or anything, I just, um, yeah."

"Actually," Kiki answered quietly, "I don't have any illusions about Mr. Crowley. I know who he is, what he is, and what his job is. But he is still my friend, and I am loyal to him, as much as I am loyal to Phoebe."

Kiki sighed a little and sat back in her chair, her hands folded in her lap. "Don't you think," she said after a moment, "that you're paying Phoebe a rather gross insult by saying that? You are, essentially, telling her that you don't trust her, you don't trust her judgement, and you don't think that she's incapable of thinking, deciding, or choosing for herself. I understand you want to protect her, but when that crosses the line into condemning her as incompetent, then there's something very wrong with the situation. Do you think Phoebe is incompetent?"

Kiki giggles. "Maybe," she concedes. Truth be told, she hasn't thought that far ahead. She's having enough in her hands just trying to keep up with the here and now. "Or it just means that us women are never satisfied!"

"She signed a contract without even knowing what it said!" Bel said, throwing up his hands. "What do you call that? If you answer 'wise' or 'smart,' then you're wrong. Now she's supposed to marry the man who tried to kill me and keeps stripping her clothes off against her will -- and I'm supposed to like it?"

"Nice to meet you," Kiki grins, waggling her arms again to keep from toppling over. "I'm actually a witch-in-training. It'll be another 2 years before I can be called a witch. The broom makes deliveries so much easier and faster. It's a lot easier to keep your balance when it's moving. Kind of like a bicycle that way. And I think I know the game you're talking about - Quidditch, right? Harry told me about it, and so did Tonks over at Wonka's Candy Shoppe. I've never seen it played, though."

Kiki slowly lets the broom descend and puts her feet down on the ground.

Paige shakes her head, "nah, it's definitely that men suck." she says with a grin.

"Irresponsible, perhaps," Kiki suggested mildly. "Or alternately, a mistake. We're human. We make them. A mistake does not equal incompetence. But humans also have this thing called 'honor.' And Grace. Phoebe is lucky enough to have both, each an intrisic part of the other. You want her to break her contract, to renege on her word, to sacrifice her honor by breaking her agreement. If she does that, then she loses some bit of Grace. Of course her doing that would make you happy; she'd be expressly choosing you over Mr. Crowley. But she would be upset with herself, for loosing that bit of honor and Grace, even though she willingly gave it up for you. In the meantime, Mr. Crowley would be quite pleased, I imagine, that he had at last caused that fall, no matter how small, in Phoebe."

"Personally, I agree," Kiki laughs.

"So what," Bel snapped, "since you seem to know everything, am I supposed to do? Walk the bride down the aisle?"

"As you should!" she replies then takes a deep breath, "well I'd better go get this over with, wish me luck!"

"Yeah, I bet you cut through all the traffic that way. Not that we have much actual traffic here, but wow, shortcuts." Anders snaps his fingers and makes a mental note of the fact that someone at Wonka's also knows about this game. Someone else to possibly grill about it! "Quidditch! That's it, yeah. It sounded really cool."

He looks at the broom, trying not to peer too closely. "Do you have to be a witch, or a witch-in-training, to be able to ride it?"
