TA Lounge - Friday

After waking up early and hanging flyers about the Boykissy Event, Veronica decided to go hang out in the assistant's lounge and take all the cookies she had baked the day before, now that they wouldn't need them for the Boykissy Event.

She opened the lounge and started a pot of coffee.

"Sweet, then," Jake said approvingly and poured himself coffee before he headed over to Pizza.

Krycek dropped in, with the vague hope that it'd be mostly empty in the lounge - no dice, but at least it wasn't really crowded, either.

"Pizza?" Veronica offered with a grin.

"So what's new? I haven't seen you in a while."

"Hey, boyfriend." Jake held out a pizza slice towards him, either in a bizarre greeting or for Krycek to snag. It was hard to tell.

Krycek grinned back, figuring food was worth company. "Thanks."

Jake shrugged. "Nothin', really. Been sketching again, a bit." He focused his gaze on her as he remembered. "Hey, how's it going with that thing?"

Either way, Krycek snagged it and had a bite as he sat down beside him - Jake could snag back if he objected. "Hey. What're you up to today?"

"Nothin' planned. Was going to watch boykissy and mock Logan, but that's apparently not on, so." Jake shrugged. "Art with you in a mo." He snagged the pizza slice back.

"Uh, I've got some suspicions that I'm trying to confirm," she said vaguely. "I might come find you later this weekend to talk about it."

Jake nodded, accepting this. He snagged a slice of pizza. "Oh, yum."

"Oh, are you in that class?" Krycek asked, considering getting up to get his own piece of pizza, except that'd take actual effort.

Anders drops by the TA lounge with a pound of freshly ground fair trade, shade-grown coffee just for the hell of it after his workout and shower. Because, you know, he can. Seeing Veronica apparently napping on the couch, he sneaks around to make a fresh pot of coffee as quietly as he can.

"There really aren't, are there?" Angela said thoughtfully.

"I'm in studio, dude." Jake gave him a faintly disbelieving look. Surely Krycek knew that? Was this pod!Krycek? Or another clone? He poked him, in case that would tell him for sure.

Veronica still isn't really sleeping since Angela just left ~~I'm assuming?~~.

"Hey Anders," she says. "There's cookies. And there may be a few slices of pizza too."

Krycek batted his hand away, making a face. "I know you're in the class, I just mean we've never even talked there, have we?"

"Mars of the boykissy poll," he says, grinning. "I'll pass on the pizza, but hey, cookies. How've you been?"

Jake blinked. "Huh, yeah, I guess not. But we don't have to, do we? I mean, I see you all the time, anyway..."

"It's been a better week than last week," she said, sitting up. "How about you?"

"Yeah, after last week it'd be pretty hard for this week not to be better, I guess." Anders helped himself to a cookie and a heavily sugared, very creamy mug of coffee. "Not bad, not bad, 'cept having a sick girlfriend's kind of a downer. Hey, you catch the radio last night? I swear that was about the second-cutest thing ever."

"Cally's sick? Tell her I hope she feels better," Veronica said. "And no, I missed the radio, what happened?"

"I will, yeah -- and no, she's not pregnant, even though I think I accidentally made a couple people think so the other day," said Anders with a slightly desperate expression. "Rory was broadcasting with Bridge last night and they both fell asleep at the end. It was frakking adorable."

He shrugged, reaching out to snag the pizza back and have another bite. "Just pointing it out. Last semester we could barely shut up in art class."

"Um, well, that's good," Veronica said awkwardly.

"And Rory and Bridge fell asleep together? How much cuter can you get? Are they together? I haven't heard any gossip about them."
