Bel opened up the Assistants' Lounge for the day. He was still in a good mood about telling Logan to stay away from Angel last night. Petty? Nah, not at all.

"Totally." Blair took a sunflower seed and placed it on the table. "You get to take something so small and fragile and nuture it and care for it and talk to it and watch it grow and it's soothing and communing with nature and...and..." He took a deep breath. "Plus you get to play in the mud!"

"Demons don't garden," Bel said, eyeing the seed dubiously.

"They don't? Where do they get their vegetables?"

Bel raised an eyebrow at Blair. "Most demons are carnivores," he explained. "And if they for some reason get a craving for a carrot, they steal it."

"Wow, that's just...actually, it's sorta funny." Blair laughed. "But what about demons who are half human and deciding to be good and stuff. Can they garden?"

"I suppose so," Bel said slowly. "I mean, can't hurt to try, right?"

"Sure can't!" Blair bounced. "The worst that will happen is that it doesn't work and you're left with lots of veggies. Nothing bad could happen."

"If I did this, what should I grow and where?" Bel asked. He scratched his head. "Vegetables, not flowers?"

"It's really up to you, man. Although I don't see you as a flower guy. But maybe on the roof? It would be pretty easy to rig up a little greenhouse and then you could pick up the seeds for whatever you want to grow!"

"Maybe I'll see what the store in town has," Bel said, still dubious. "Maybe."

Blair nodded and smiled. "Well, let me know what happens, man! Or if you need more ideas for getting rid of stress!"

"Working out in the gym helps with stress, too." He grinned at Blair. "So does that 'Big O' we were talking about earlier."

"Yeah, I'm getting into the gym some too. I went to self defense the other night, it was pretty cool. Although Alanna is not as patient of a teacher as Angel was."

He frowned. "I'm going to have to rent that movie."

"It's all about the relationships between men and women I guess," Bel said, "but that one scene in the diner will show you what the Big O is. Or what it looks like at least."

"Cool. I have the day free tomorrow, so I'll try and pick it up." Blair bounced excitedly.
