Up early that morning and unable to fall back asleep, Bel wandered down to the Assistants' Lounge and opened it up for the day.

"Hi, honey," he said, shoving the magazine aside and walking over to give her a kiss.

Phoebe kissed him and then hugged him to her. "How is your oh my god early morning going?"

"Just catching up on a little sociology homework," Cole said, squeezing her tight. "How's the forensics studying going?"

Phoebe dropped her head on his shoulder. "I know the stuff, it's my best class... but when I study for the exam... it's like I forget it all. I'm not ready for the final tomorrow, Cole."

"You'll do fine, love," Cole said, patting her back. "You're just stressed. Just relax and let it come to you."

Phoebe sighed. "I'm trying to relax, love. I just didn't expect the final this soon."

He kissed the top of her head. "You'll do fine. You're smart," he said. "Don't stress so much."

Phoebe smiled. "I love you."

"Love you too, sweetheart," he said, smiling.

"I need to finish my Sociology homework, too."

"Sit down with me and we can work on it together," Cole suggested.

Phoebe nodded. "Sounds like a plan... I'll even try to sit in my own chair," she teased.

"That's good, because otherwise I might get very distracted and then try to distract you," Cole said, grinning.

Phoebe laughed and sat at the table, pulling out her notebook.

"Which of the sociology classes are you studying for?" Cole asked, peering at her notebook.

"The report for Paranormal," she said softly. "I wonder if nightmares of apparitions and other scary things count?"

"Probably," Cole said. "What did you have in mind?"

"I was considering writing about one of the forms in my nightmares."

"Nightmares?" Cole said, concerned.

"Mmm hmm," Phoebe nodded as she wrote. "I could also write about the Woogy," she mused.

"What nightmares?" Cole prompted.

"Just the usual, demons, death, redness."

Cole reached across the table and took her hand. "You know I won't let any demon hurt you," he said.

Phoebe squeezed his hand and smiled. "I know you won't love. I'm not worried."

"Good," he said, giving her hand a squeeze of his own before looking down at his sociology homework.
