Up early that morning and unable to fall back asleep, Bel wandered down to the Assistants' Lounge and opened it up for the day.

Bel retrieves the issue of Cosmo he tucked away and starts to flip through it. For a "women's magazine," there sure are a lot of pictures of scantily clad women. Not that he's complaining.

Bel desperately hopes no one walks in while he's looking at "His 4 Stages of Love" because the article is filled with large pictures of men without shirts for some reason. He decides he's in stage three.

Bel's in Speech and the lounge is closed unless another TA opens it. Cosmo is carefully hidden under the couch again.

Bel reads "Guy Spy" with interest. "Why can't men just say sorry? They see apologizing as a form of public humiliation and a move that makes them more vulnerable to criticism. Plus, for many men, words don't count as much as actions, which is why if they've done something wrong, they'd rather show their remorse by not doing it again." Yeah, if only that worked.

Bel finds an article called "Cosmo for your Guy: Promises You Must Keep." He takes note of the four promises: I'll call you right back; I'll take care of it; We should go there; and I'll be there at seven.

"The Naughty Thing 30% of Couples Do in Bed." Huh. Interesting.

Time to order some Chinese.

Bel wonders if Phoebe's read "Sex Goddess Secrets," since she seems to know many of said secrets. He's intrigued by the insert of "Signs He's Good in Bed." "He's an adventure magnet; he takes you on creative dates; he dances; he hits the gym; he looks you in the eye." He made a note to go to the gym more often.

Bel is in Sociology and the lounge is closed unless another TA opens it up.

Bel's back to read up on one more article: "Get the Kissing You Crave." "Compatible kissing is important because it's how partners communicate intimacy. It's also romantic, which keeps a relationship alive."

After an early morning trip to JGoB for cookies, Isabel stopped by the Lounge in search of coffee.

She couldn't help but snicker when she saw the article over Bel's shoulder. "Interesting reading?"

Not being stupid enough to brave the cafeteria Callisto decided to see if anyone in the lounge had ordered takeout. "Funny, you always struck me as more of an InStyle reader."

Bel quickly turned the page. "Saw this lying around," he said, hoping he wasn't blushing. "Just bored and decided to flip through it."

Bel turned to a page on fashion that showed women in tiny bikinis. "For a women's magazine it sure shows a lot of flesh," he said, trying to sound casual.

"You think guys are the only ones interested in scantily clad women?" Callisto asked. "Pity, most of those girls are fake."

Angel was taking Sean for a walk around the dorms and decided to hit the lounge.

Seeing Bel there, he immediately took a seat on the couch and said "So I'm totally over that thing with Logan now."

"Yeah, gotta say I prefer the real and natural look," Bel agreed. "Plastic may be nice to look at, but not as much fun to be with."

Bel hastily pushed the Cosmo away and casually covered it with his sociology books. "How so?" he asked.

"We moved past it," Angel said, looking Bel in the eye. "You heard about the fight I'm guessing."

Isabel laughed as she poured herself a cup of coffee. "I see. Thought you'd get some insight into the female mind?"

Coffee in hand, she took a seat on the other couch. "I'm glad you're here anyway. I wanted to say thanks for your message the other day. It meant a lot."

"Can't say I've ever had the misfortune of not having the geniune article to play with," Callisto shrugged. "One advantage of coming from a 'primitive' society."

"Yeah, I did," Bel said. "So, what, it got getting fangy out of your system or something?"

"Something like that," Bel said, grinning. "Blame Blair, he did it first."

He turned serious. "I meant it," he said. "You've always been nice to me despite everything. If anyone gives you any trouble I'll be happy to deal with it."

"Demons mostly use magic for any, uh, enhancements," Bel said. "Cheating, I suppose, but it's a lot more like the real thing." He looked Callisto over, wondering if asking her about those playmates would get him slapped.

"Maybe they should just offer a class for you guys," Isabel laughed. "And the women of the school can make up the syllabus. This way you'd know you're getting accurate information."

"Actually everyone has been very understanding since it came out. Curious, but understanding." She frowned, "Veronica seemed to be the only one with a problem. And that was before the radio broadcast happened."

If Callisto could read minds she would have said, yes, they were, and yes, it would, but luckily for Bel she couldn't. "So demons get, uh," she made a gesture with her pinky. "Insecure, too."
