Lunchtime, TA Lounge

Angela has barely looked at any of her textbooks in almost two weeks.

This could be bad.

She decided to spend her lunch period in the TA lounge, eating some yogurt and attempting to catch up on the work she missed while she was back in Pittsburgh or too emo to study distracted.

Not in the mood to go into the cafeteria, Cameron headed down to the TA Lounge instead. "Hey, Angela." He greeted as he noticed he wasn't the only one who had that idea.

Angela waved. "Hi, Cam," she said, then sighed. "Math class is going to kill me."

"You and me both," Cameron sighed and dropped down in a chair. "And I'm just in beginners."

"Like, I'm supposed to do my final project with that English freshman, Walter Dornez?" Angela said. "I think my entire contribution is going to be bringing enough glitter to make our fractals pretty."

"Glitter's important?" Cameron suggested. "At least it could blind Broots into not seeing any mistakes?"

"It's so weird Broots is grading us. I mean, he's a good teacher, but it's still kind of strange," Angela said. "But, yeah, that's the hope, with the glitter."

"For maths?" He asked. "I think panic is about the only plan I have right now."

"It's a good plan. And I think Broots will identify," Angela said.

"Think pouting would work?" Cameron asked. "Although I'm probably the wrong gender."

Angela considered this. "That might make it work better, if he got really flustered," she said. "Or maybe you could dress up like Parker and terrify him into an A."

Cameron blinked. "I don't do heels."

"Learn?" Angela suggested.

She put down her textbook, taking pity on Cameron. "So what else is up?"

Cameron stuck his tongue out at her when she suggested learning.

"Besides brekaing up with Jaye? Not much," he replied.

Angela groaned. "I didn't hear about that. Breakups suck."

"Yeah, they do," Cameron agreed quietly.

Angela bit her lower lip. It was easy to bicker with Cameron about floor war stuff, but anything real...

And she knew he had ended things with Vala not so long ago, too.

Double ouch.

"So you think it's for good?" she asked.

"Probably, yeah. It sounds like she has some things to deal with first," he shrugged and he really wasn't holding his breath on this one.

"Sounded like that when we talked last week," Angela agreed, wondering what Jaye was thinking. "I'm sorry, anyhow."

Trying to distract Cam, she added. "Oh, hey, I got an email from Marty. He said he's okay and he'll come back when he can."

Cameron smiled, glad to take the distraction. "Good to hear, I told you he was alright."

"You did," Angela admitted. "Maybe there's somethign to your whole floor brother thing."

It's the least she can say if his heart is all brokenated.

Cameron grinned at that. "That never was in doubt."

Angela rolled her eyes, but she was smiling. "So you're going to be okay, with the Jaye thing?"

"Yeah, I'll alright." He nodded even if he didn't exactly understand it himself. "It hurts and I don't think I'm going to be dating for a while, but... I'll be okay. Thanks."
