Assistants' lounge, 10/10

Nadia had woken up early rather accidentally, but couldn't get back to sleep, so she grabbed an assortment of breakfasty and snacky type foods from J,GOB, and decided to open up the assistants' lounge.

Because she could. Which was fun.

Nadia is enjoying her coffee. Are you?

Oh, and there's some tea for those weirdos, too.

Second period

Coffee having been drunk, Nadia pulled out her dream journal.

Maybe she should use the names from her adventure story for the journal.

Describing Pipin getting decimated wasn't any more fun than describing it happening to Pip.

Third period

Speaking of the adventure story, Nadia's got that pulled up on her laptop now.

Her main characters were being surprisingly chaste as they worked to defeat the evil overlord of Atlantis.

Fourth period

[nadiathesaint]

The evil overlord of Atlantis is surprisingly hard to defeat. If Nadia knew anything at all about Russian history, she'd liken him to Rasputin.

But she doesn't. So she doesn't.

Phoebe wandered into the lounge.

"Hey, Nadia."

Nadia looked up and smiled. "Hey, Phoebe. How are you?"

Phoebe was bouncing a little bit. "Still floating on air after Friday night and the weekend," she said happily. "How are you?"

"Pretty good." Nadia decided against bringing up Bel at all costs. "Walter and I had a lot of fun, too."

Phoebe beamed. "I'm glad you guys had a good time," she nodded and then she grinned. "Cole turned me into Cinderella," she squealed slightly.

"And I'm going to assume that doesn't involve ritualized burning, right?" Because, really, the "cinder" part still made her think that.

Phoebe shook her head. "Nah. Cinderella is my favourite fairy tale and Cole made it come true for me. There was a carriage and glass slippers and everything."

"Does that include the part where he beat up Logan?" Nadia asked, before she could stop herself.

Phoebe's face fell slightly. "No... that was Logan and Cole being stupid."

"That does seem to happen a lot, doesn't it."

"It always happens where those two are concerned." She sighed. "They hate each other."

"It's one thing to hate each other. It's another to shove the guy's face into the wall and have to have my boyfriend break up the fight."

This part Phoebe hadn't known and she facepalmed. "Walter had to break them up?" That was new. Usually it was Veronica.

"And nearly got in trouble when the Doctor came by and found Walter sitting on them to get them to stop."

Phoebe winced. "God, Nadia, I'm sorry. I didn't know he almost got into trouble because of them."

"It's not your fault. And the Doctor seemed to understand what was going on."

Lunch

She's ordered Chinese. Those who don't have a taste for the extremely spicy should stick to the lo mein. Or order for themselves.

Fifth period

Nadia's got her cards out and is playing a rather complex version of solitaire involving two decks.

Either that, or she's rearranging the cards for fun in random patterns.

Sixth period

[nadiathesaint]

Now she's throwing the cards one at a time at an empty (and rinsed out) Chinese food container.

She makes about half of them, but she's pretty sure she's getting better at it.

Seventh period

[nadiathesaint]

She's off to music, so the lounge is locked, unless someone else opens it up.
