Mischief and Mayhem Club, Meeting #4, Monday night, 11 pm, TA Lounge

In the darkness of night, the room was unlocked. The cloaks and masks were arranged in the antechamber, in preparation for the night's dark deeds.

Within, a lone figure stood in shadow at the front of the room. The stupid weather refused to provide lightning to illuminate him dramatically. Still, it was a pretty good effect all the same.

"Welcome, brethren," he intoned. "Welcome to our mischief night. Welcome to our plotting, our planning, our dark and secret scheming. Welcome all. Let us begin our dastardly work."

"Are we gonna do the fish-thing?" Mercury asked, bouncing. "We should. Soon. It'd be fun."

The figure at the front of the room bowed. "YES," he answered dramatically. "We shall do the FISH-THING. Soon."

Red Demon stepped forward and raised a hand. "Uhm? Where were we going to do this? In town or on school grounds? And do we need to give Mom money, since we haven't had our fund raiser yet?"

"I got money," Red Kite intoned with a shrug. "I think. Anyhow, I could probably chip in enough to add a few of them singin' wall-mount fish to the project, yo. Put 'em on motion sensor, so whenever someone walks on the sidewalk, they get Don't Worry, Be Happy sang at 'em."

"And sistern... I mean sisters!" Red Demon waggled a finger at him. "Some of us are girls, and we should be welcomed, too."

The figure at the front nodded. "Yes. Brethren and sistren. Or, boy brethren and girl brethren," he intoned dramatically. "Or... WHATEVER. Come, ye childryn of the nyght!"

"We're not vampyyyyyres," Wallflower protested, giggling from behind the total anonymity RLY of her mask.

"NO," Wolfman agreed. "Ye be sistren. ...Of the night."

Wallflower frowned suspiciously. "That... sounds kind of dirty."

"I think he's totally a real werewolf and THAT's why he calls himself Wolfman." Red Demon snickered. "I'm gonna tell Mr. Winchester. Maybe I can get extra credit or something for turning him in."

"Nooo, we can't betray the secrets of our Sacred Fellowship!" Wallflower argued, getting into the spirit of it.

Red Demon threw her hands in the air with an exaggerated sigh. "But Wallflower! It's EXTRA CREDIT! How can I resist? My oath or my grades? You would make me chooooooose?"

Wallflower tried to think creatively. "You could... make a fake werewolf and turn that in?"

Robert's Rules say this is the time to bring up new business.

Or bow in awe and worship at his feet. You know, whatever.

Tyler was there, reading the paper. He figured the students would bug him if anyone lit themselves on fire.

As Wolfman paced across the front of the room, a corner of his cloak brushed against some frayed and exposed wiring.

He didn't notice the small flame that begun smoldering in the fabric.

Tyler glanced up with some small alarm. "Wolfie, get your cloak in the sink," he called. "Unless you wanna burn up your pretty hair."

"Huh?" Wolfman asked. Then he looked down at his cloak and jumped. "AAAGH!!!"

He stomped on the fire frantically until it went out, and then coughed and regained his composure. "Thank you, Mom," he said gravely, with a bow. "Duly noted."

He was very proud of himself for not getting pissed off about the hair comment.

"Anytime," Tyler almost chuckled. He went back to his paper.
