Still more with cleaning

Angel was up early.

That was so wrong on so many levels.

But he'd promised Krycek to help finish cleaning the Assistants Lounge, and sadly doing that was more fun than contemplating dealing with Parker's forced death march to Student Council.

Angel stood in the doorway to the lounge and pondered what he wanted to attack first.

Sean nosed around. It was possible that he sniffed around the door of one cabinet in particular more often than he did the others, but Sean was a puppy and puppies did weird things sometimes.

John frowns again. "What happened?"

"Do you want the short, the not-so-short, or the long-version?"

"Uh." John scratches his head. "Go with the not-so-short version."

"Cam's a frakking-idiotic-ingrate with a death-wish."

John's jaw drops. "Ooookay. What prompted this?"

"Vala slept in my room last night," Callisto replied. "She and Cameron had fight and it was enough to make her not want to stay in his room. So this morning, I thought I'd tell him, maybe get his side of things. It...didn't go well."

"Crap," John says. "Bad fight, I'm guessing?"

"It got to the point where I probably wouldn't have been able to stop myself killing him if I hadn't left when I did, and I don't mean that figuratively."

"Geez, what the heck did he say that pissed you off so much?"

"It was possibly the part were he blamed Vala for him trying to commit suicide by Aeryn."

What? "What?"

"Apparently he's been sparring with Aeryn nearly every day this last week, and got beat up at least three times, and Vala seemed worried about him getting hurt. I brought it up, one thing lead to another and...I saw the bruises, John, and I'd guess that Aeryn probably wasn't pulling punches."

John frowns again. "That's unusual since I sparred with Aeryn too and she did pull punches," John says. "Think I should say something to Aeryn? I'd planned on talking to Cam about his incessant need to spar all the time but I wonder why Aeryn didn't go easy on him?"

"I'd talk to Aeryn first, considering the fact I had to go into command mode even get that much out of him."

John nods. "Go for it. She's likely to talk to another.." He stops because he's almost says girl and that's not quite the situation. "Another fellow warrior type person before she talks to me about this kind of thing."

"Yeah, I'll do that," Callisto nodded. "Although it probably wouldn't hurt if you did too."

"Okay," John says and nods as well. "I'll talk to Cam too. And if I can catch Vala or Jack, I can try to see what's the what. This is a weird situation all the sudden."
