Still more with cleaning

Angel was up early.

That was so wrong on so many levels.

But he'd promised Krycek to help finish cleaning the Assistants Lounge, and sadly doing that was more fun than contemplating dealing with Parker's forced death march to Student Council.

Angel stood in the doorway to the lounge and pondered what he wanted to attack first.

Sean nosed around. It was possible that he sniffed around the door of one cabinet in particular more often than he did the others, but Sean was a puppy and puppies did weird things sometimes.

"Hey, Cal," Angela calls from where she crouches in front of the fridge. "What do you think this purple stuff is?"

"Something we should touch with our bare hands I'd say," Callisto looked at the purple mass. "Possibly some kind of mould. Hopefully."

"I'm thinking mould, too," Angela answers. "Mould that's had a lot of time to reproduce and mutate."

She wipes at the mass with a damp sponge. The purple fur comes off, revealing a thicker layer of mixed orange and green stuff that somehow looks both spongy and slimy. "Okay, this is just gross."

"And fragrant too," Callisto wrinkled her nose. "Lucky us."

"Seriously. But at least it's not too hard to scrub off," Angela says, wrist-deep in the mould.

"We'll have to leave it open overnight to get the scent out."
