Still more with cleaning

Angel was up early.

That was so wrong on so many levels.

But he'd promised Krycek to help finish cleaning the Assistants Lounge, and sadly doing that was more fun than contemplating dealing with Parker's forced death march to Student Council.

Angel stood in the doorway to the lounge and pondered what he wanted to attack first.

Sean nosed around. It was possible that he sniffed around the door of one cabinet in particular more often than he did the others, but Sean was a puppy and puppies did weird things sometimes.

"Yeah, it's red and there's this beadwork and I think I'll justshutupnow..." Callisto clapped her hands together. "We'll just say we've got clothing covered then?"

"Covered by clothing, check," Angel said. "Um. I guess time is next? Place?"

"Uh, maybe that place Logan got the food from last night, if they do the nice thing, it was good."

"Chinese could be good," Angel said. "Uh - when?"

"Sometime in the next few days, I guess. Maybe Sunday? Y'know, one last thing before classes start again."

"Sunday could be okay," Angel said. "I - uh - I guess I pick you up? At your room?"

"Sounds good to me," Callisto replied.

"Sometime after sunset?"

"Of course," Callisto grinned. "Otherwise it'd be a very short date."

"Point." Angel wasn't grinning like a doof. Not at all. "So. Uh. Okay. That's good. I'll go get ready then."

"Great. So it's a date then," Callisto paused for a second before adding. "Literally."

"Right." Angel did not look both excited and panicked at the exact same time. "Good. Great." A thought occured to him. "You don't like still beating hearts of, well, anything, right?"

"Uh, no, not really all that big on them."

"Okay. So more like flowers or something then?"

"Not so big on the flowers either, sorry," Callisto grimaced apologetically. "Although they're far more preferable to still beating hearts."

"Okay. Um." Angel thought. "I'd bring weapons but the school's kinda banned those."

"Oh, yeah, they did," Callisto might have looked the tiniest bit shifty.

Angel looked a little guilty. "I forgot to get you a souvenir from home. All I brought back were stakes."

"That's okay, I mean it's not like you had to or anything." Callisto shrugged. "Besides I'm not really a souvenir kind of person."

"Oh. Well hey," Angel gave a little smile, "something I didn't screw up then."

"Hey, you haven't screwed up lots of things," Callisto grinned and pointed a finger at him. "And if you try to disagree with me, I'll hit you."

"Well okay. But arguably that could be fun."

"You're really asking for it aren't you?" Callisto asked, waving a fist in mock threat.

Angel grinned. "And we're what? Suprised I like strong girls who fight?"

"Now that you mention it, no," That didn't stop Callisto from aiming a very light punch at Angel's midsection though.
