With only one class to worry about, Angel had plenty of time to hang out and do nothing pay close attention to his studies.

Currently he was curled up on the couch and reading a large, old, dusty book.

Sean, possessed of a better sense of fun than his dad, was chasing a ball around on the floor.

There was fresh coffee brewing.

Phoebe looked guilty and then tried to act innocent. "Hi, love. What's new?"

"What are you doing out of bed?" he said, crouching by the wheelchair. "Your leg won't heal if you don't get some rest."

Phoebe looked at him. "I...I'm scared to be alone, Cole."

Cole relaxed. "I'm sorry, love," he said. "I should've thought of that. We have a lot of the same classes, if you promise to sit still you can go with me to them. Or I'll skip class and stay with you."

Phoebe nodded. "I'll sit still, I promise," she whispered.

Cole grinned, trying to lighten her mood. "Besides, we get to cut in front of all the lines, right?" he teased.
