Wednesday --- The Assistants Lounge

Phoebe was wide awake and working on ~~AU smut~~ some very important homework and essays. She decided to come in and open up the lounge for the other assistants. She made coffee and brought in muffins and doughnuts, turned on the CD player, then settled in to work.

Phoebe is sprawled out on the couch, writing.

Phoebe runs off to Camulus' class. She locks the door so only Assistants can open it up again.

Phoebe has to come back for her notes for Sociology of Violence

She's studying...no really.

Cole came into the lounge and settled on the couch, moving Phoebe's legs and putting them in his lap as he pulled out notes for sociology. "Hey, sweetheart," he said softly, leaning sideways and down for a kiss.

Phoebe smiled at him happily and kissed him. "Hey, love."

"I haven't seen you since second period," he teased. "Missed you."

Phoebe laughed. "Aren't we supposed to get like this after Sex Cultures class and not the Violence one?"

"How about after every class?" Cole suggested mischievously. His arm was stiff and aching from the wound Logan had given him with the gun, but he managed to mostly hide his discomfort from Phoebe.

"I could definitely deal with that," Phoebe said softly as she moved closer to her boyfriend.

Cole swung Phoebe's legs down and pulled her close, his right arm around her shoulders. "Hopefully no one will come into the lounge today," he said, grinning at her and winking.

Phoebe grinned and snuggled close to Cole as she looked like she was reading her notes from his lap.

Cole paged through a book, then paused to tickle Phoebe. In the back of his mind he worried about what Veronica had threatened last night. If Piper told her about what had happened between them, and Veronica told anyone else, it would come back to Phoebe. He suspected she wouldn't take it well.

Phoebe laughed and shook her head as she went back to her notes, completely realxing against her boyfriend. "I love you."

"Love you, too, sweetheart," Cole murmured.

Phoebe smiled and sighed in contentment. This was going to be a very good day, she could feel it.

After talking to Veronica, Logan stopped in the Assistant's Lounge to grab a cup of coffee before Magical Theory.

Phoebe looked up. "Hey, Logan!"

Bel stiffened as Logan entered the lounge. He wouldn't dare say anything to Phoebe about the incident last night, right?

"Hey, Phoebe. Hey, Bel," He gave them a small wave. "How's the arm doing?"

Phoebe looked from Logan to Cole. "Arm?

"Fine, thanks," Bel said warily. "Just a scratch. Don't worry about it, love."

"Yep, no big deal," Logan grinned. "Bit of a scuffle." He pointed to his bruised eye. "You know how us boys get."

This was when Phoebe started getting worried. "What were you guys fighting about?"

"Nothing to worry about," Bel said, looking at Logan. "Just a little disagreement."

Phoebe wasn't buying any of this, so she looked at Logan. "Logan?"

"That's pretty much it," Logan agreed. "He thought it'd be okay to kill Veronica if she told you that he seduced Piper. I disagreed." Logan shrugged and smiled at Bel.

Phoebe froze and stared at Logan. "He threatened to kill Veronica...if she told me..."

She turned to look at Cole, her eyes filling with betrayal.

"You bastard!" She cried as she slapped him.

Bel gave Logan a murderous look. "You're dead, Echolls," he promised in a low growl. Then he grabbed ahold of Phoebe. "It's not like it sounds, sweetheart!" he protested.

Logan gave Bel a flirtatious wink. "Oh, I'm sure it's perfectly innocent," he said. "Which is why he's now threatening my life for telling you."

Phoebe was shaking, looking between the guys and trying to form words in her shock. "Piper...you and my sister..." She took a step back from Cole and from Logan.

"Phoebe," Cole said pleadingly. "It was a long time ago, before you and I were together. It didn't mean anything, I didn't love her like I love you."

Logan snorted. "You know, I would love to stick around and see you try and wiggle your way out of this one," he said, "but I gotta get to class." He started to leave, then stopped, and added without a smile. "Phoebe - no matter what excuse he gives you - he was going to kill Veronica to keep you from knowing. Does that sound innocent to you?"

"Logan... tell Veronica...oh god..."

Phoebe shook her head and ran from the lounge.

"You will pay for this, I promise," Bel snarled at Logan before racing after Phoebe.

Logan took a sip of his coffee and grinned. "So very worth it," he said to himself, then left the lounge.

Still Studying...maybe.

Phoebe is gone and the lounge is locked. One of the other Assistants will have to open it for people.

Safer here than the cafeteria.

Off to Forensics. She locks the door so only Assistants can open it up again.

Phoebe is playing with the kittens...and is therefore late to Sociology of the Paranormal

That looks suspiciously like a nap.
