Before classes, Phoebe opens up the Assistants Lounge and starts a pot of coffee. She has a pile of paperwork in front of her and is sitting on the couch looking it over.

"That... makes no sense," Veronica says. "Piper told me yesterday that there was nothing going on with the two of them. And from what I gathered, what happened before wasn't, um, you know, a love type thing." Veronica is flailing faltering because she's confused and hates seeing her friend in so much pain.

"Yeah," Veronica says. "I guess he got upset when she told him about what happened and he told her he needed some time to process everything. Now she misses him but is afraid to call him."
