Monday In The Assistants Lounge

Before classes, Phoebe opens up the Assistants Lounge and starts a pot of coffee. She has a pile of paperwork in front of her and is sitting on the couch looking it over.

Phoebe smiled slightly at her friend. "Feeling like death is a good idea, but being very stubborn about living." She shrugged. "How are you?"

Alanna pondered that for a moment, and then something black and furry came into the lounge and jumped on her lap. "Hunh?" She scratched Faithful's ears. "Um, better than that?"

Phoebe blushed. "Yes, but you're my friend so I thought something was wrong and I became concerned." She looked down for a long moment. "Yeah, I'm unhappy and so very confused, too."

Alanna flapped her arm as if to say 'Yes, go on.'. Faithful, being not very eloquent in the mornings, or afternoons, jumped from Alanna's lap to Phoebe's.

"Well, ever since then, things seem to be going downhill and this weekend...he did something really, really bad." She swallowed, focusing on Faithful so as not to see disappointment in her friend's eyes. "It was so bad, I almost jumped off the penthouse balcony at the hotel. There was tequila involved."

"No jumping! Guys are sooo not worth that. Trust me, I've lived with them for six years." Alanna rolled her eyes. "Um, anything I can do to help?" And hey, give the cat some credit, he's not laughing at Alanna. Yet. However, he is purring.

About ten minutes after Sociology of Violence lets out, Veronica decides to stop by the assistant's lounge for coffee. She's in no way hoping to have a repeat of Friday's visit, though.

She sighs when she sees Phoebe on the couch. Not wanting to disturb her if she's actually napping, she quietly crosses the room to pour a cup of coffee.

Phoebe continued to pet Faithful. "He was kissing me and he called me by my sister's name, among other things." She sighed. "Crowley got me off the balcony but...things are hazy... and I..." Phoebe bit her lip as she fought not to start crying. "I woke up in bed with him yesterday morning."
