Krycek had the room open, coffee started, and a crossword puzzle open on the table ~~because sudoku puzzles are the devil! The devil I say!~~.

He was ready to camp out there all day, if only to avoid hanging out in his dorm room.

John's hanging out in the TA's lounge before second period class with Skeeter.

He might be wearing an elaborate tuxedo (http://www.finetuxedos.com/Pages/PackageDetails.aspx?ProdID=127&PackageName=Tuxedo+Tails), carrying a walking stick and wearing a monocle.

And he's not insane. Truly.

Isabel came in to grab some coffee before second period Speech. And stopped dead when she saw John.

John twirls his walking stick around and grins.

"Good morning," John proclaims in his best British accent. "How are you?"

Isabel grinned back. "I feel vaguely underdressed but otherwise just fine. What are you doing?"

He drops the British accent and grins.

"Another way to drive one of my Professor's crazy," John says. "Pretend I'm British and go by Lord Nigel von Susteren in class today."

"Which professor? And why?" Isabel asked, laughing.

"Professor Skeeter," John says, "and because she turned me into a monkey amongst other things. Plus, I can be kind of a jerk sometimes."

"Oh, I heard about that." She stopped laughing and got a bit more serious. "Are you sure it's worth it? She might not turn you back this time."

"It's worth is," John says. "If you heard the radio broadcast, she thinks he's one ahead of us. Time to prove her wrong. Plus, being British is kinda fun."

"You have a strange idea of fun. But the again, the accent, the tea, the fish and chips." She poured herself a cup of coffee and leaned back against the counter. "I hope you'll have fun. But I'll be sure to grab an extra banana from the cafeteria for you just in case."

"Thanks," John says and grins. "If she turns me into another animal, I doubt she'll go with a monkey again. Won't be unique enough for her. She wouldn't be so tough if she didn't have that wand."

"Well I hope for your sake that she sticks with cute and cuddly creatures. I don't think you'd want to be a slug or anything slimy like that." She stopped, "Wait, she has a wand? As in magic wand? Wow. But then again, she turned you into a monkey so I don't know why I'm surpised."

Isabel looked at her watch, "Damn, I'd better get to class ~~actaully go and accomplish something today~~. Have fun. And try to stay human."

"Yeah, magic wand," John says and shakes his head. "Stupid wand."

He waves at her at she leaves. "Have a good one! I'll try to stay human."

Krycek isn't there, he's in History of Art. Open the door yourself if you have a key.

Angela takes her yogurt, banana and cherry coke and sets up camp at the table. She's deep in concentration, head bent opver a book of Dorothy Parker's short stories.

Krycek looked up ~~and adjusted his frog-hat~~, nodding to Angela briefly if they happened to catch each others' eye.

Angela nodded back at Krycek. "Hey, Alex. You eating lunch in here too?"

"More or less," he said, using his pencil to nudge a bag of trail mix that was sitting open in front of him. "Haven't much felt like eating in the cafeteria."

"Yeah, the chef freaks me out," Angela agrees. "I should get over it, but ... I'm happy with yogurt, really. Cafeteria food is bad enough at a normal school."

"Probably better for you, too," he said, smirking. "So, at the party. Were you doing cover-up for the hunting thing? S'that why you were jumpy?"

Angela blinks. "Got it in one," she says. "Are you going to yell at me?"

Krycek reached into the bag and snagged a cashew, glancing up at Angela with one eyebrow cocked slightly. "Why would I yell at you?"

Angela shrugged. "Either because it was dangerous and stupid or because we didn't invite you. It seems like there's a lot of that going around."

She licks yogurt off her spoon. "Zero won't even talk to me."

Krycek shrugged as well. "I wouldn't have gone. Are you kidding me? I wouldn't be out there unless you paid me. A lot."

"I didn't go out," Angela said. "Not a fighter. I was just on the support team. Hence the party."

"But yeah, they're either crazy or really brave."

"Crazy," Krycek offered with a nod. He looked down at his crossword and frowned slightly. "You don't happen to know the capital of Ghana, do you?"

"No idea. We never got to Africa in Geology freshman year," Angela said.

"Sorry."

He shrugged and tried a couple things out, erasing soon after. "You know, I think we see each other more often than when we had newspaper together."

Angela laughed. "I think you're right! But it's pretty easy to be more often than --" she thought for a second. "Basically never."

"I guess we have History of Art together, as well," he said, grinning. "Just, now all the cliques have fallen together, for the most part, I'm surprised when I still see people on a fairly regular basis. Does that make sense?"

"It does," Angela agreed. "You never mean to be part of a clique, but they seem to come up at every school. Like lice, or bad cafeteria food."

She frowned. "Hey, speaking of seeing people on a regular basis, how's Jake? I haven't seen him around in a while."

"Jake? He's been in my room. A lot. Apparently the snow monsters trashed Logan's house, so they had to move into the dorms. Jake was supposed to room with Logan, but jumped ship before they started doing things they might regret." He's only half-kidding and sighs as he fills in another word with quick block letters.

"I heard about the house and that they'd moved to the dorms," Angela said. "And somehow it doesn't surprise me he's ending up in your room. Logan's okay, but I wouldn't want to live with him, you know?"

She scrapes her spoon across the bottom of her yogurt container.

"How's the crossword going?"

"I sympathize, but I'm not sure that moving in together is the way to go," he grumbled. "And I have yet to gain miraculous geographical knowledge - still stuck on Ghana."

Angela tilted her head, thinking. "Yeah, I wouldn't have moved in with Marty. It seems too ... permanent, y'know? Plus I need my space. But I guess it works for some people."

"And I also do not know the capital of Ghana. Still."
