Callisto stumbled into the lounge before classes started, carrying a thick stack of books and a notepad under one arm.

She had most of today free, she was going to use it ~~to plot even more revenge against Skeeter~~ productively.

"Against Anders?" Angel asked. It was a sign of how much he liked her that he didn't mind her touching his hair. "Wow. I must be doing good."

"I'm afraid you just got pipped at the post," Callisto answered. "But you're getting there."

"I didn't win?" Angel pouted. "It's because I could turn evil at any second, right? That always gets me."

"Only just," Callisto assured him. "Plus the deciding vote was Cally's and I think she's a little biased."

"Oh, well, yeah, if that's how it's going to go," Angel said. "But you would've voted for me, right?"

"Natutally," Callisto nodded. "You really think I wouldn't?"

"I like to make sure," Angel said. "So when do you think you might be up for that double date with Logan and Veronica? How you feeling, by the way?"

"Pretty much any day but Monday is good for me," Callisto said. "Good, haven't got the all clear yet, but good."

"So no chance of you being able to go out this week then?" Angel asked.

"I didn't say that,"Callisto replied. "Unless your idea of diner is a lot more strenous than mine, it should be fine."

"Well there's going out in the cold," Angel said. "Walking. Plus the whole chewing thing. You could exhaust yourself."

"Oh noes, that would be terrible," Callisto rolled her eyes. "Good thing I'd have such a big, strong man to take care of me then."

Angel might've tickled her a little. "You better be talking about me and not Logan."

"Hey," Callisto tried to squirm away from the tickling. "Well, now that you mention it..."

"Now you know the rules," Angel said. "No sex with other people unless I can at least watch."

"Just remember that goes for you as well," Callisto said. "Only watch?"

"At least watch," Angel reminded her. He moved his hands up to trace a thumbnail down her neck. "And there's only one problem with what you said. I'm not interested in anybody but you."

"I'm glad to hear it," Callisto turned her head to nuzzle his shoulder. "Because the feeling's mutual."

Angel grinned. "Going to be busy later?"

"Not that I'm aware of ~~although a fun weekend of filing for Professor Skeeter looks to be on the horizion~~," Callisto said. "You?"

"Self-defense," Angel said. He shifted, showing how his side was still bothering him. "My guess is I'll be sitting this one out too. Oh, and after lunch I'll be talking with Pip."

"This would be the same Pip who serenaded us on Saturday?"

"Correct."

"And he's still breathing?"

"He wrote a note of apology later," Angel said. "With a bottle of wine. Figure it's worth giving him a chance to explain."
