Assistants Lounge, Tuesday February 14

Bel opened up the lounge in the morning, running over his sociology notes for class that afternoon. He had a kimono and hakama pants hanging from a hook on the wall, and a sake set on the table.

Alanna whimpered and glared at the bear. The bear didn't glare back. "Thanks." Pause. "Present."

I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to cry. Especially not infront of Bel. "Yes." Alanna bit off frostly. "With help from..." She searched for the proper word. It wasn't a nice one. "... the twin." If looks could kill and Thom and Jon had been in the room at that moment and not an innocent lamp there'd actually be two dead bodies.

"You don't look too happy about it," Bel mused, curious as to what Alanna's deal was.

"Oh gee, what ever gave that away?" Alanna glared at the world at large, and then specifically at the poor, unloved bear and Bel.

"Then why are you clutching that bear so tightly?" Bel asked.

Alanna glanced at the hand with the teddy bear. "To better strangle him with?" The him is rather vague. "Why the hell do you care anyway?"

Alanna sighed and shifted in her seat, revealing the cast that was still on her right wrist. "Who's bloody idea was it to make stupid holiday about stupid love?"
