TA Lounge, Friday, February 24

With only one class on Fridays, Bel settled in the Assistant's Lounge to spend the day studying. Not brooding. Nope. Not at all.

The door is open, come on in.

"Lana, there's not the capacity for evil in you," she soothes her friend. "How long ago were you last in contact with these rocks?"

"When I was home over break and got thrown by my horse. I landed on some of them." She's clearly getting more and more agitated, but trying to stay calm.

"The thing is Phoebe, we think it's something about the rocks that make people... bad. So if this is caused by them..."

Phoebe hugs her. "Somehow, I don't think that's what's going on here. I have heard of weirdness happening to other students yesterday."

"Really?" Lana looks incredibly relieved. "What... God, I wonder what's happened to me. To us?"

Now that she's less concerned that she's turning into a meteor mutant, she's curious. "I wonder how much I can do with this..."

Nadia had been wandering around the halls with her "surprise" for a little while already, trying to locate the lounge, when she happened by the door and noticed Bel was, in fact, in there. She paused for the briefest moment in front of the door, then quickly kept walking and stepped up against the wall a few feet away and pulled out the bot.

"Okay," she whispered. "He's in that room. Go get him, Moral!"

She wound the bot up, double checked that he was loaded with glitter, and set it on the ground.

It hesitated for a moment, seeming to look around.

"That room!" she hissed. "That one there!"

The bot looked up at her.

Nadia rolled her eyes and used her foot to nudge it into the door frame. It scurried in, and she leaned back against the wall, waiting nervously to hear the first sounds of her Plan working.

*pfft!*

"^Dammit,"

She really had to work on this whole sneaking thing. And definitely get rid of the helium thing.

Phoebe grins. "Now you sound like me."

She bites her lip, knowing the niether Lana nor Cole are going to like what she's about to say.

"Kiki and I plan to use my Spirit board to find some answers to some things tonight. I'll see if we can find out about this..."

Moral stopped just inside the doorway, then spotted his given target. He scurried over.

"Sharing is caring!"

Bel looked down at the floor. "What the hell...?"

"Cursing is disrespectful!" admonished the bot.

"Phoebe... I don't know how good an idea that is..." Lana looks concerned again.

"Fuck off," Bel snapped, aiming a kick at the robot.

Moral scurried to the side and shot a fountain of multi-colored glitter at Bel.

"Cursing is disrespectful!" it repeated, in the same cheerful tone. "Hurting people is mean!"

Phoebe nods. "It probably isn't, but the attacks... the weirdness... I can't talk to certain people... so this is the only other way we can think of. I promise I'll cast a protective circle."

She drops her voice to a soft whisper. "I can't ask Cole for help, and I don't think I should ask Crowley because it'll cause more trouble and he'll get angry at me again." She bites her lip. "Besides, some of the answers I'm seeking? They're not for me.'

Bel tried to get out of the way, but the glitter sprayed all over him. "Oh, you're going to pay for that," he snarled, stalking over toward the bot.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!" squawked the bot as it backed up.

From outside could be heard a very soft, very high pitched snicker.

Glaring at the bot, Bel turned toward the door. Crossing the room in a few strides, he darted into the hallway, looking for whomever was laughing.

Nadia, having realized her mistake, was trying to walk as casually as she could down the hall, even as she clutched her mallet in her bag.

The bot scurried after Bel, crying out "hurting people is mean!" over and over again.

Lana sighs in resignation. "Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Hey, you!" Bel called after Nadia. "Stop!"

Phoebe's voice got softer. "You won't like it."

Nadia did as ordered, mostly out of instinct, and turned around, trying her best not to look as terrified as she was.

"^What?"

The bot was now jumping up and down and sending out little spouts of glitter. "Hurting people is mean! Hurting people is mean!"

Lana sighs again. "Tell me."

Bel tried kicking the bot away from him again but it nimbly dodged. Bel himself was not so lucky about dodging the glitter, however. "Did you have anything to do with this...this thing?" he demanded of Nadia, on the verge of flailing.

"If anything happens? Keep an eye on him for me?"

Nadia looked from Bel to the bot, then back at Bel. She, too, was getting hit with some of the glitter, but not nearly so much as Bel was.

It was very hard not to giggle.

"^{Um, no?}" She bit her lip slightly to hold in another snicker.

Agatha was the best person, ever.
