With only one class on Fridays, Bel settled in the Assistant's Lounge to spend the day studying. Not brooding. Nope. Not at all.

The door is open, come on in.

Moral scurried to the side and shot a fountain of multi-colored glitter at Bel.

"Cursing is disrespectful!" it repeated, in the same cheerful tone. "Hurting people is mean!"

Bel tried to get out of the way, but the glitter sprayed all over him. "Oh, you're going to pay for that," he snarled, stalking over toward the bot.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!" squawked the bot as it backed up.

From outside could be heard a very soft, very high pitched snicker.

Glaring at the bot, Bel turned toward the door. Crossing the room in a few strides, he darted into the hallway, looking for whomever was laughing.

Nadia, having realized her mistake, was trying to walk as casually as she could down the hall, even as she clutched her mallet in her bag.

The bot scurried after Bel, crying out "hurting people is mean!" over and over again.

"Hey, you!" Bel called after Nadia. "Stop!"

Nadia did as ordered, mostly out of instinct, and turned around, trying her best not to look as terrified as she was.

"^What?"

The bot was now jumping up and down and sending out little spouts of glitter. "Hurting people is mean! Hurting people is mean!"

Bel tried kicking the bot away from him again but it nimbly dodged. Bel himself was not so lucky about dodging the glitter, however. "Did you have anything to do with this...this thing?" he demanded of Nadia, on the verge of flailing.

Nadia looked from Bel to the bot, then back at Bel. She, too, was getting hit with some of the glitter, but not nearly so much as Bel was.

It was very hard not to giggle.

"^{Um, no?}" She bit her lip slightly to hold in another snicker.

Agatha was the best person, ever.

"Why do I have the feeling you're lying, brat?" Bel said, taking a step towards her.

Nadia stepped back. "^Probably--" she swallowed and cleared her throat. "Probably because of the helium?" she offered, not at all convincingly.

Considering that the bot had now scuried behind her, still shouting its admonitions, but hiding behind her leg.

"Keep that thing away from me," Bel said, heading back down the hallway. He'd have to shower and get all this damn glitter off of him.

Nadia stood and watched in shock as the so-called big bad demon left her completely alone.

Moral had no such difficulty. It went scurrying after Bel as fast as its tiny legs could carry it, no longer spitting glitter, but still calling out advice.

"Just say no! Drink your milk! Cheaters never prosper!"

Bel did the only thing he could.

He ran.
