TA Lounge, Friday, February 24

With only one class on Fridays, Bel settled in the Assistant's Lounge to spend the day studying. Not brooding. Nope. Not at all.

The door is open, come on in.

Off to Celtic Studies.

Second Period

He's rereading "The Dream of Oengus."

After running Celtic Studies, Phoebe comes into the Lounge. She sees Cole studying and not wanting to disturb him, she stretches out on the couch, closing her eyes.

Cole did not lift his head from his book, but he watched Phoebe out of the corner of his eye. Seeing her launched him into a full-on brood. The great irony of what he was reading did not escape him: Oengus, longing for the woman in his dreams, being told he could not have her. If his life were a Celtic tale, the great power of his brooding would've been felt for miles around. Those who had brooded before him would've knelt and called him master. Poets would've studied him, trying to find the words to capture his angst.

In short, he was brooding. A lot.

Phoebe was aware of him being so near, and she was strangely comforted by this. However, with the way things were between them...

"If I'm bothering your studying I can go see if I crash in Piper's room," she suggested softly.

"Phoebe..." Lana says quietly, but with a strange tone to her voice. "Can I talk to you? Something... happened this morning."

Lana pokes her head in. "Hey Bel, I was looking for Phoebe." She glances over at her sleeping on the couch. "But, I guess... I probably shouldn't wake her."

Lana looks a little distraught and upset.

Isabel walked in after US Government and said "Can you get me an order of Hot & Spicy Beef?"

"Sure," Bel said, then instructed NPC Chinese to add that to his order.

"Thanks." She dropped her books on the couch and took a seat. "So should I ask how Valentine's worked out? I don't trust the radio that much."

"It...didn't," Bel said with a sigh. "We ended up having a huge fight."

Back to brooding studying.

Nadia had been wandering around the halls with her "surprise" for a little while already, trying to locate the lounge, when she happened by the door and noticed Bel was, in fact, in there. She paused for the briefest moment in front of the door, then quickly kept walking and stepped up against the wall a few feet away and pulled out the bot.

"Okay," she whispered. "He's in that room. Go get him, Moral!"

She wound the bot up, double checked that he was loaded with glitter, and set it on the ground.

It hesitated for a moment, seeming to look around.

"That room!" she hissed. "That one there!"

The bot looked up at her.

Nadia rolled her eyes and used her foot to nudge it into the door frame. It scurried in, and she leaned back against the wall, waiting nervously to hear the first sounds of her Plan working.

*pfft!*

"^Dammit,"

She really had to work on this whole sneaking thing. And definitely get rid of the helium thing.

Moral stopped just inside the doorway, then spotted his given target. He scurried over.
