TA Lounge - Friday

After waking up early and hanging flyers about the Boykissy Event, Veronica decided to go hang out in the assistant's lounge and take all the cookies she had baked the day before, now that they wouldn't need them for the Boykissy Event.

She opened the lounge and started a pot of coffee.

Too much pizza and being up too early combine to make a sleepy Veronica.

She stretches out on one of the couches.

Angela decided to take a break in the TA lounge between lunch and art.

Seeing Veronica napping, she tried to be quiet as she rummaged through the mini-fridge for a soda.

Veronica wasn't actually napping, merely resting her eyes.

"Hey, Angela," she said. "I think there's some pizza leftover from lunch if you're hungry."

Angela thought about it for a nanosecond. "Sure," she said. "I just had yogurt for lunch. I'm trying to go all year without setting foot in the cafeteria."

She selected a slice of pepperoni pie and nibbled on it.

"So how are you?"

"No major crises this week, so I guess I can't complain," she said with a grin. "How about you?"

"No crises, and I had a really good night last night. Plus it's Frday. So, also no complaints." Angela chewed on the pizza, savoring it.

"What did you do last night?"

"Six-month anniversary with Marty. I mean, if you don't count the time we spent broken up," Angela said. "We went to Cafe Fina and then he kind of reenacted our first kiss. It was cute."

"Aw, that's sweet," Veronica said. "I'm so glad you two got back together."

"Me too," Angela laughed. She finished the pizza.

"So do you have any plans for the weekend? I'll probably go see the play, 'cause Rory's directing."

"Oh, I'll definitely be at the play," Veronica said with a grin. "Logan's one of the leads."

Angela raised her eyebrows. "I didn't know he acted. I kind of thought he would want to stay away from that, considering his family stuff."

"Which part's he playing?"

"One of the four lovers," she said. "I forget which. And he doesn't act, best he can figure, Barbossa auditioned him when he was in detention."

Anders drops by the TA lounge with a pound of freshly ground fair trade, shade-grown coffee just for the hell of it after his workout and shower. Because, you know, he can. Seeing Veronica apparently napping on the couch, he sneaks around to make a fresh pot of coffee as quietly as he can.

Veronica still isn't really sleeping since Angela just left I'm assuming?.

"Hey Anders," she says. "There's cookies. And there may be a few slices of pizza too."

"Mars of the boykissy poll," he says, grinning. "I'll pass on the pizza, but hey, cookies. How've you been?"

"It's been a better week than last week," she said, sitting up. "How about you?"

"Yeah, after last week it'd be pretty hard for this week not to be better, I guess." Anders helped himself to a cookie and a heavily sugared, very creamy mug of coffee. "Not bad, not bad, 'cept having a sick girlfriend's kind of a downer. Hey, you catch the radio last night? I swear that was about the second-cutest thing ever."

"Cally's sick? Tell her I hope she feels better," Veronica said. "And no, I missed the radio, what happened?"

"I will, yeah -- and no, she's not pregnant, even though I think I accidentally made a couple people think so the other day," said Anders with a slightly desperate expression. "Rory was broadcasting with Bridge last night and they both fell asleep at the end. It was frakking adorable."

"Um, well, that's good," Veronica said awkwardly.

"And Rory and Bridge fell asleep together? How much cuter can you get? Are they together? I haven't heard any gossip about them."

"It's good. It's very good." Maybe he was a bit too vehement about that. "And they're not together or anything, unless my best bud has been holding out information on me, which I don't think he is. But every time they talk, it's just cute in this bizarre way."

"You'll have to let me know if you get any inside scoop on them," Veronica said, her gossip columnist instincts rearing their ugly head.

Anders rolled his eyes. "It might cost you," he teased. "They both live on my floor and I don't wanna get killed."

He thought back on his conversation with Rory the night before. "No, seriously, I'm pretty sure there's nothing going on there. At the moment, anyway."
