TA Lounge - Friday

After waking up early and hanging flyers about the Boykissy Event, Veronica decided to go hang out in the assistant's lounge and take all the cookies she had baked the day before, now that they wouldn't need them for the Boykissy Event.

She opened the lounge and started a pot of coffee.

Angela decided to take a break in the TA lounge between lunch and art.

Seeing Veronica napping, she tried to be quiet as she rummaged through the mini-fridge for a soda.

Veronica wasn't actually napping, merely resting her eyes.

"Hey, Angela," she said. "I think there's some pizza leftover from lunch if you're hungry."

Angela thought about it for a nanosecond. "Sure," she said. "I just had yogurt for lunch. I'm trying to go all year without setting foot in the cafeteria."

She selected a slice of pepperoni pie and nibbled on it.

"So how are you?"

"No major crises this week, so I guess I can't complain," she said with a grin. "How about you?"

"No crises, and I had a really good night last night. Plus it's Frday. So, also no complaints." Angela chewed on the pizza, savoring it.

"What did you do last night?"

"Six-month anniversary with Marty. I mean, if you don't count the time we spent broken up," Angela said. "We went to Cafe Fina and then he kind of reenacted our first kiss. It was cute."

"Aw, that's sweet," Veronica said. "I'm so glad you two got back together."

"Me too," Angela laughed. She finished the pizza.

"So do you have any plans for the weekend? I'll probably go see the play, 'cause Rory's directing."

"Oh, I'll definitely be at the play," Veronica said with a grin. "Logan's one of the leads."

Angela raised her eyebrows. "I didn't know he acted. I kind of thought he would want to stay away from that, considering his family stuff."

"Which part's he playing?"

"One of the four lovers," she said. "I forget which. And he doesn't act, best he can figure, Barbossa auditioned him when he was in detention."

"Kind of like Xander Harris or Callisto," Angela nodded. "Jake Gavin "auditioned" for them."

She shook her head. "I can't believe even a fake principal would make people do this who didn't want to. We go to such a weird, weird school."

"Jake auditioned Callisto?" Veronica asked, mentally facepalming as she remembered him asking for a cheerleading outfit.

She sighed. "Well, there's never a dull moment, that's for sure."

"That's what I heard somebody say?" Angela said ~~as her player realized she's not sure she has the IC knowledge~~. "Might just be a rumor."

She nodded at the "never a dull moment" part. "Absolutely. Like, Janet Frasier said Marty's going to blow up a shack after classes. For art."

"Well, Logan said he heard that Jake auditioned people, but I don't think he ever told me who."

She blinked at Angela's other words. "Blowing up a shack for art?" she shook her head. "Your boyfriend is weird."

"And you're just noticing this now? I figured it out after he dressed up like Principal Connor," Angela grinned.

"Apparently he and Nadia are experimenting with some thing they saw in London. I don't know, I'm kind of stuck on the kaboom part."

"Marty is taking Nadia somewhere to blow stuff up?" Veronica asked.

"So I've been told?" Angela shrugged. "I kind of got stuck on how blowing a shack up was art and didn't ask for details."

Veronica shook her head. "I... there are just no words."

"There really aren't, are there?" Angela said thoughtfully.
