Bel opened up the Assistants' Lounge for the day. He was still in a good mood about telling Logan to stay away from Angel last night. Petty? Nah, not at all.

"It's hard," Bel confessed. OMG! Dirty! "I tend to be throw fireballs first, ask questions later. But I'm learning. It's weird being friends with Angel instead of Angelus...they're so different."

"We still have a lot in common," Bel said. "Demons with souls. I just never let myself see that when I was...trying to change him back." He took some of the offered sunflower seeds and popped a few in his mouth.

"Yeah, we're like a matched set," Bel chuckled. "And I guess I've changed. I mean, before I would ignore it when I felt guilty about something. I didn't listen to my conscience at all. Now I do."

Blair looked thoughtful for a moment. "Probably someone will make you angry enough eventually and you should really have a strategy in mind. Maybe yelling into a pillow or stomping on light bulbs or..." He bounced and grinned. "Gardening!"

"Totally." Blair took a sunflower seed and placed it on the table. "You get to take something so small and fragile and nuture it and care for it and talk to it and watch it grow and it's soothing and communing with nature and...and..." He took a deep breath. "Plus you get to play in the mud!"

Bel raised an eyebrow at Blair. "Most demons are carnivores," he explained. "And if they for some reason get a craving for a carrot, they steal it."

"It's really up to you, man. Although I don't see you as a flower guy. But maybe on the roof? It would be pretty easy to rig up a little greenhouse and then you could pick up the seeds for whatever you want to grow!"
