Assistants Lounge [9/20]

Phoebe had gathered some books and notebooks and settled into the Assistants lounge to do some note taking and research for the Good Omens class and lab projects.

She started the coffee maker and brewed some tea before she settled back in to read and study.

Phoebe shook her head. "Only Piper and paige know about Cole. Grams and Prue would kill him if they knew about him."

"But you could get their perspective on guys in general, right?"

At this Phoebe grinned. "Grams' perspective on men is quite colourful. Men are evil and no man is ever good enough for one of the Halliwell women."

"Well, you guys are pretty awesome, so maybe she has a point."

Phoebe smiled. "Thanks, Nadia." She shook her head. "One of these days I'll learn not to poke the demon's jealousy button."

"But why should you have to do that, when he's usually the one poking yours first?"

Phoebe tried to find the right words. "Because I've had almost 18 years of practice and learning how to be a human and Cole has only had about 6 to 8 months of really learning to be a human?"

"But if his jealousy button is what helps him learn, then maybe that's a good thing."

"I hate hurting him, Nadia, but I feel I have every right to be upset."

She dropped her head into her hands.

"Men are confusing. I need chocolate." She sighed. "I wasn't even mad when I talked to him about it!"

"You DO have every right to be upset, Phoebe. If he thinks that he can kiss whomever he wants, but you should only be kissing him, then he's very, very mistaken."

Phoebe nodded. "I just don't think he realizes that it hurts when he kisses someone else like that... even in fun. Playing drinking games doesn't count." She bit her lip. "I want to be the only one he wants to kiss... like he's the only oone I want to kiss. Unless it's cleared ahead of time."

"Have you told him that it hurts like that?"

Phoebe thought about that for a moment.

"I honestly don't think I have. I told him it pricks my temper, but I don't think I told him it hurts."

"Maybe you should."

"Yeah... I probably should.... if I can find him." She sighed. "We have class together 7th period."

"Maybe after class, then. You don't want to distract him in the middle of it, right?"

"The last thing he needs is to be distracted in that class," Phoebe agreed.

"Sometimes I envy Blair."

Nadia nodded. "I'm pretty sure he's never had to face a kill or be killed situation."
