Wednesday Morning

Phoebe opens up the lounge and immediately starts brewing the coffee. She has a feeling that she's going to need a lot of it, today.

She has her hair pulled up in a ponytail and is wearing a unique blue jewel around her neck that she often plays with.

She has a notebook in front of her and is making notes and doodles ... about weddings and...

"I wonder if they make wedding gowns in the colours of Hellfire and Damnation?"

Phoebe has run off to Camulus' class. However, her notebook is left open to a page and under the heading music it says:

"Wedding March or Highway to Hell?"

Phoebe has run off to Sociology of Violence, but not before she writes down:

"Keep Grams and Prue from vanquishing the entirety of the Groom's side of the church. wait...church? Can they even enter a church?"

"I cannot believe this is happening!"

For someone planning her wedding, Phoebe doesn't exactly look festive. She's worrying that jewel around her neck again.

Added on the notebook is

"NO FRUIT TREES!!"

in very large, black print.

Piper wanders into the lounge, deciding now was time to check it out. She had nothing else to do and the cafeteria terrified her.

She didn't realize her sister would be there. "Phoebe. I'll leave... if you want me to."

Phoebe looks up, rejection on her face. "Why...why would I want you to leave? You haven't done anything wrong."

Piper blinks. "Are you kidding? I'm part of the reason you're miserable. You obvious blame me a little. I haven't heard from you in a week."

Phoebe shakes her head and reaches for her sister. "No! Not at all! I thought that you were in love with...and that I had hurt you..."

Piper's mind boggled. "I'm the one that kept something from you. I hurt you."

She tried to process everything else Phoebe said. "And you thought I was in love with who? Bel? So not true at all. Most of the time, I can't stand him. What gave you that idea anyway?"

"He...he..." Tears are in Phoebe's eyes. "Piper, you were trying to protect me. I was never mad at you...but you are going to hate me so much."

"You were never mad at me? Not even a little?" Piper couldn't believe that. She sat beside Phoebe, glancing at her with concern. "I could never hate you."

"Piper...Piper I signed a cntract with a demon to protect Cole..."

Piper just blinked. "You... huh? Why would you..."

Phoebe looks down, not being able to meet her sister's eyes. Of all of them, it's always been Piper that she has wanted to make proud of her. It's always been Piper that she has felt closest to.

"It was before...everything. He was tormenting Cole and using me to hurt him a lot. I wanted to protect him..."

Piper closes her eyes, trying to understand what her sister just said to her. "I don't know what to say. You did this for Cole? Really?"

Phoebe nods, still not looking up. "Cole didn't know about it until a few days ago."

Piper sighs. "He's so not worth it, Phoebe. I know you might think so, but..."

She shakes her head. "So, who did you sign a contract with anyway?"

"The person I'm engaged to."

Piper is completely speechless.

Phoebe has tears slipping down her cheeks as she waits for Piper to say something, anything.

"Tell me who." Piper's voice is filled with anger, mostly at the whole situation.

"I'm marrying Crowley," she says, showing the necklace.

Piper nearly flailed when she heard this news. "What the hell?! Phoebe, what were you thinking?"

Phoebe flailed and collapsed into sobs completely. "I wanted to protect Cole! He said if I was his, he'd back off of Cole." Phoebe hates that Piper is upset with her. "I found out last night that I signed a marriage contract."

"You wanted to protect Cole? Did you even think about me or Prue or Paige when you signed this contract?" Piper can't believe what she is hearing. "I can't lose you, don't you get that? How am I supposed to protect you now?"

"You're not going to lose me!" Phoebe wails. "I thought if I kept him off of Cole, then Cole wouldn't lose his temper and hurt..." She swallows. "Yes, I did think of you three! I wanted to protect all of you!"

Piper sighs. "How is marrying a demon going to protect us? Seriously, Phoebe. We cannot have a demon in the family."

"Piper...I'm going to keep my promise. He...he saved my life after I tried to jump from the balcony."

"You did what?" This was all too much for Piper to process.

"Cole...he came to see me on Saturday. I thught we were going to talk and maybe make up, I loved him so much. He was kissing me and holding me...I told him I loved him, and he said..." Phoebe looks down. "He said, I love you too, Piper..."

Piper suddenly felt very ill. "Oh. My. God. Are you sure you weren't dreaming? I seriously doubt he loves me. And if he does... I certainly do NOT share the same feelings. At all."

"Not a dream," she says softly. "Smelled like him, felt like him, was him. He denies it, but..."

Piper sighs. "I have no idea what to say about that. But I do not love him. You have to believe that."

"I know you don't. You love Lindsey and need to talk to him before Cole does and ruins your relationship."

Piper blinks. "Have you been talking to Veronica?"

"Go to him, Piper."

"Don't change the subject," Piper sighed. "Look, Pheebs, I have to go process all of this."

"I love you. And I'm going to try to find a way to get you out of this mess," she said quietly before leaving.

"Piper!" Phebe says. "I'm staying with Crowley. I want to. I plan to marry him. I love him."

Piper returns for a moment when she hears Phoebe's shouts. "Well, then I guess you made your choice."

With that, she turns and walks away sadly.

Phoebe waits to make sure that Piper is out of hearing range before dropping her head into her arms and sobbing.

Phoebe has gone to Forensics to talk to Lana and Maia about the OMWTFMarriage?!?!?! contract she had signed with Crowley.

Phoebe is at Paranormal class, but on the notebook is:

"He'll have to deal with my name being Crowley-Halliwell, damn it. In our family, the bride keeps her name. At least Grams won't kill me for that one."

*still flailing about the fact that she did sign this*
