Callisto stumbled into the lounge before classes started, carrying a thick stack of books and a notepad under one arm.

She had most of today free, she was going to use it ~~to plot even more revenge against Skeeter~~ productively.

"You did huh?" Callisto tapped her chin with her pen. "Anything particulary interesting?"

"Your name came up," Angel said. He might've put his arm on the back of the couch. You know, coincidentally around her shoulders.

"Really?" Callisto might have shifted so she was leaning back against him rather than the couch. "Was this in connection to 'pretty threesomes'?"

"Well... yes," Angel said. "But also about another thing."

"And what other thing was that?"

"That you were talking to someone about me."

"I might have said a few things to Cally."

"Oh yeah?" Angel asked. "And what might you have said?"

"I believe there could have been talk of a best boyfriend title needing to be defended."

"Ooo," Angel's fingers might have started to trace circles on her shoulder. "How'd I do?"

"You measured up well enough," Callisto might have reached up to play with his hair. "Excelled even."

"Against Anders?" Angel asked. It was a sign of how much he liked her that he didn't mind her touching his hair. "Wow. I must be doing good."

"I'm afraid you just got pipped at the post," Callisto answered. "But you're getting there."

"I didn't win?" Angel pouted. "It's because I could turn evil at any second, right? That always gets me."

"Only just," Callisto assured him. "Plus the deciding vote was Cally's and I think she's a little biased."

"Oh, well, yeah, if that's how it's going to go," Angel said. "But you would've voted for me, right?"

"Natutally," Callisto nodded. "You really think I wouldn't?"

"I like to make sure," Angel said. "So when do you think you might be up for that double date with Logan and Veronica? How you feeling, by the way?"

"Pretty much any day but Monday is good for me," Callisto said. "Good, haven't got the all clear yet, but good."

"So no chance of you being able to go out this week then?" Angel asked.

"I didn't say that,"Callisto replied. "Unless your idea of diner is a lot more strenous than mine, it should be fine."

"Well there's going out in the cold," Angel said. "Walking. Plus the whole chewing thing. You could exhaust yourself."

"Oh noes, that would be terrible," Callisto rolled her eyes. "Good thing I'd have such a big, strong man to take care of me then."

Angel might've tickled her a little. "You better be talking about me and not Logan."

"Hey," Callisto tried to squirm away from the tickling. "Well, now that you mention it..."
