Assistant's Lounge, Thurs Jan 19

Done with ACJ and not feeling up to heading back to the room before Campaigning, Angel headed into the lounge to lay on the couch and close his eyes for a few minutes.

Deciding to finally check out this TA lounge he's got access to, Anders tries out his shiny new key only to discover that the door is unlocked.

He promptly trips over one of the chickens and faceplants fabulously onto the floor. Which is great, really, considering he's got gym next period.

John enteres the TA's lounge just in time to see Ander faceplant. Ouch.

"Dude, you okay?"

"I tripped on a chicken," Anders says into the floor. Because that wasn't obvious or anything.

"You did," John says, staring at the now pecking chicken. "Did you hurt anything?"

"Whatever was left of my dignity?" Anders rolls over and tries to swat the chicken away from his head. "Not that there was much."

"It was a graceful fall if that helps," John says, smiling. "The chicken appears to like your head."

"Yeah," says Anders, scowling and swatting at it again. "Why is that?"

"He likes your shampoo?" John watches the chicken peck around. "Do you want me to swat it away or anything?"

At the mention of being swatted the chicken squawks and starts flapping its wings at John, sending muppet feathers everywhere.

"Hey!" John swats at the chicken with his arms. "I wasn't really gonna do it!"

The swatting really doesn't amuse the chicken in question to it decides to peck john on the leg to show him who's really the boss.

Not happy with being tripped over, the chicken attempts to hop on top of Anders and peck at his head.

Angel stared at all of this in shock.

"...the Hell?"

One of the chickens walks over to Angel and starts rubbing up affectionately against his leg and clucks happily.

Angel immediately got up and put enough room for there to be him, a chicken, and the Holy Spirit.

"Oh my God. Phoebe, is that you??"

"Phoebe's a chicken?" John stares. "Dude, wasn't she just a girl?"

[ooc: won't let me delete or screen it either! wah!]

"She was a dog the other day," Angel said, pointing at the chicken in accusation. "With an interest in - in - look there was my leg and I don't want to talk about it, okay?"
